I really wish theyd bring back this show for more modern stories. I remember watching the reruns in the 90s as a kid and it was pretty relevent then. No one had cellphones yet and most didnt have cordless phones yet in the early 90s. Now the world has changed and we have different emergencies and different responses. I will continue to love the crap out of Rescue 911 but itd be nice to see it come back and maybe teach todays kids how to appropriately respond to an emergency situation.

I almost got hit by lightning. I was 5 years old. in 1988. I was playing T-ball in our town baseball little league. out of no where a storm came up in middle of the game. they call off the game. while my mom and I was were running to the car. lightning strike the pitcher mount. it happen so fast. I don't remember my mom and I falling to the grown, I remember we black out for a few sec. lucky no one got hurt. just shaken up. Since then I have big fear of lightning.

The time of year makes perfect sense. It's a summer evening in mid to late July in the Southeastern United States on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The pop up afternoon and evening thunderstorms are very, very typical. It can go from sunny to storming very quickly.
@mothership92072 жыл бұрын
I moved to Gulfport in 1989 and for the longest time you could still see the 2 trees every time driving down Courthouse Rd. I’ll be going back down the same road here in a little while and if traffic is not too bad I’ll look to see if I can still see the trees, the area has grown up a little bit over the years though.

Lightning and voltage. Are two things that people should be aware of dangers the voltage of your house when somebody gets ahold of a cable is like a big magnet you cannot take your hands off of it ,it draws you towards a plug-in and you can't lot let go pretending sensation goes through your body your hands and your fingers are numb you try to get away but still cannot do it !your hurt will be beat faster, it is a dangerous environment when you're beside,(Hydro or electrical storms)it can mean life or death !
@USAIRFORCE6217 жыл бұрын
These boys made a critical error. As the old saying goes "when thunder roars get indoors". By staying outside under a tree of all places they literally put themselves in a very bad situation to be struck by lightning! Hopefully they learned from their mistake, in addition frantic parents don't help the situation.

Try having it really happen. My sister was in a near drowning, was without oxygen for too long & now has severe traumatic brain injury. She CAN'T "just get a job" and anyone with a brain themselves would know it just by looking at her. She wouldn't even make it through the interview for god's sake. She might be able to get a job at Goodwill Industries but they don't TRY to get her one. The people supposed to be working with her are lazy IMO if they don't even try to find her work and then claim she doesn't work. They're being paid to HELP her. Why don't THEY think of it?
