The worst thing about covid is that restaurants are now closed and stray animals have no way of eating anymore. They would be fed by good people, but going outside is no longer allowed in many areas. The only thing we can hope is that stray animals can find their way in someone's yard and they will at least give them something to eat instead of kicking them out

I showed this to my dad, he just broke down, I asked him why he was crying and he said that it reminded him of his dog in Iraq and how it got some shrapnel stuck in it. The dog lived and he got to keep him until he died in 20011. Rest In peace boomer, you were on of my bests friends and you always will be

Just as a side note, if you see a very malnourished pup, try to give water first, then small portions of food otherwise it might overwhelm the digestive system. Awesome work keep it up!

@NO NAME NEEDED Hey - no need to get angry - puppies are extremely vulnerable and unfortunately can die for tons of reasons -- exposure, disease, or just Fading Puppy Syndrome. People in rescue lose seemingly healthy puppies all the time :( and without a mother their chances are terribly slim. Shaking can also be from cold or terror or several illnesses.

This is why people need to think before getting a pet. I mean, it's better to leave it in the shelter than to abandon it not so long after. When seeing an animal on the street, I respect that someone wouldn't want or wouldn't be able to take it in, but it's on the little things. Giving some food isn't all that difficult. So yes, I highly agree with you, people should definitely think before taking an animal. Even if something happens, you can give it to someone else.

While videos of dogs, cats, kittens, and puppies that have been abandoned or mistreated are so difficult to watch, I believe they are a necessary evil to bring to light to everyone that this needs to change. Spaying and neutering should be part of the protocol when getting a pet. And harsher laws to those who abandon and or mistreat and abuse them. There is a clear difference between eating animals that are of a domesticated, non farm raised, non consumption optimized etc and eating a cow which is made to eat and use for food. No, slaughterhouses are not pretty, but are made to efficiently use cattle in order to feed others. Leaving a dommesticated dog of that size out there to rot is just wrong, its a waste of life.
