You can simply give it a “The Rescue Rangers” explanation, "No case to big, no case to small, if you need help just call". The Rescue Aid Society found a bottle with a message of help on it, and they plan on providing that aid no matter who, where, or what. In the Rescuers Down under it came to their attention again because a mouse was the one who called to help the little boy.

@@adamsmith4195 Also just going off a judgmental basis (especially since you seem to be the type to do so yourself), Adam Smith has to be the most generic white dude name I've ever heard in my life so genuinely, props to you for that. No wonder you have such an issue with hearing the word diversity.
@adamsmith41955 жыл бұрын
@@Whocareslol : ) Didn't say they thought this was the best Disney movie. Just thought it was a really odd (not so great) criteria for categorizing movies. I'm really don't feel triggered by this at all, and you may be surprised to learn that I am not some hyper-political Trump voter type. I do think that our society has put diversity on a pedestal where it doesn't belong, along such merits as love, truth, justice, peace, and even equality. And I do find that silly and unfortunate...Good one on the generic name thing. Possibly true. Lots of black Smiths out there though so who knows.
@jordankidd44435 жыл бұрын
Hmm let's fact-check that. Oscar winners and nominees (one criterion for the title of "best") for at least the past 3 years running have been movies rated and merited above others for so-called "diversity". As we speak, there are indeed people claiming "this is diverse and therefore the best Marvel movie!" And since Marvel = Disney, Adam Smith is actually literally as well as technically correct. Also "going off on a judgmental basis", the fact that you associate a name and an implied socio-political stance with white male, indicates that you are sexist and racist, specifically prejudicial against white males, whatever demographic you yourself may be. No wonder you have such an issue with hearing the word diversity... ironically.

I've had the chorus to this song stuck in my head for the past week, but I couldn't think of the verses. This cured it. I loved this movie as a child

I remember growing up watching this! Re-watched it recently, got so inspired! This song hasn't left my head for a week! I can't believe Walt tabled the idea due to it's political statement, so glad the senior animators revived the idea!

The best part was Miss Bianca's singing. Robie Lester did a great job as Eva Gabor's singing stand-in (Eva couldn't sing that well, which is why in the "Green Acres" theme song she "speak sings" her part, and did it very well!)

@DJ-XLR82 жыл бұрын
Thank you! .... I want to say that I think I did one bored and sassy afternoon when VidIQ gave me crap for not having it captioned, but I can't remember if it was for this video or not. But if it was a community contributed captioning (back when youtube allowed that) then full credit to them but I can't seem to find a way to check who that would have been. If anybody knows how I can check who did the captionings, please let me know, I'd love to give proper credit!

So somebody is singing off key in the beginning but everyone else is singing with their hearts, including Bernard and Bianca who brightens the ending chorus as Eva Gabor joins in the scene with her amazing voice.
