People who mistreat these animals from heaven should spend eternity in hell for these are truly Gods creatures. Sometimes it is the so called “humans” that aren’t human. If I ever had the blessing to be in close proximity to these beautiful creatures I would never get any work done for all I want to do is stare at them. They are truly eye candy.

@@rebeccahenson5328 Having been fortunate enough to own and care for 5 of our own horses (none of them Friesians, but maybe one day), I don’t disagree with anything that you’ve written. However, not every body sets out to mistreat them. Some genuinely fall on hard times and can no longer care for them, and some owners die before their time leaving an uncertain future for the animals they love and care for. The one thing that stops me owning any more horses is the realisation that they will probably out live me.

@@richardm9550 I agree with you. Someone sent a rug and a bridle and maybe feed with this horse. Whoever had him previously did not mistreat him. You can see his coat is good, he's in good flesh and his feet look pretty good. I'm an old lady with four horses and hoping I outlive all of them, but in case I don't, I have made provisions for them.

It just breaks my heart to see these horses get shuffled from place to place trying to find someone who will want them and take care of them. Can you imagine how these intelligent animals feel when they get off a truck and don't even know where they are? Thank God for people like you who care about these creatures and take on the responsibility to take care of them and treat them kindly. Hoping that he finds a forever home and can live out his days in peace. Thank you for helping him. He is a beautiful horse.

This popped up on Google. Am aware of many horse rescues but never imagined a Friesan would need one. Noticed not well muscled and underweight but in better shape than most rescued. The back and gait are concerning. Beautiful breed, never saw or ridden one in real life. Nero is well mannered and grateful for a welcoming stall. Blessed are the rescuers the world over. ❤

Oh my goodness what a gorgeous boy he is and the seemingly sweet and gentle way about him just makes him all the more beautiful!! I hope he hasn't had such trauma and not for long if he did to cause any residual or heaven forbid permanent effects to either his personality or physical structure due to the neglect he has received!!! Beautiful animal. The horse transport vehicle is awesome. The way you gave this horse space and time to adjust to his new home was great . I used to purchase racehorses that could not make the cut and trained them to be show jumpers. You did a wonderful job

I like the music very much, but it should be low and in the background on vids, so to hear human and horse voices. Actually, simple, soothing, classical tones like this can be welcomed and therapeutic to horses and other animals like dogs, cattle, elephants, etc. I’m surprised more people don’t play it in barns! I’ve just found your Friesian sanctuary and don’t know anything of Nero’s history~ is his rt. hip a birth or spinal injury problem? I’m just glad he’s in a safe place to be cared for. When I first saw him come out of the trailer, his back looked funny to me, like we call in the west a sway back. Is this because of his leg issues? I'm subbed, liked, alarmed to you now having just found you and the these are my dream horses! They are so beautiful, you never want to stop looking at them when they are in good form and with their furry feet that a lot of people cut off, I'd put in the work to keep them germ free myself so they could stay.
