It always amazes me how these huge beasts just stand there and allow you to do things to them that no one has ever done before in their entire lives and you make them bend and stretch and push and pull and pull their legs in strange positions and all the time you are doing things that make them wince and jerk away but still then just go back to standing there for you patiently accepting whatever you do to them!!! Doug animals just don’t behave like this especially semi wild animals like horses that have not been domesticated like dogs and therefore easily controlled!!! If you hurt a horse it will buck up and kick you!!! The same if you frighten it!! Yet they stand there for you and let you do all sorts of strange things to them that is not always pleasant and they accept it!!! You have a gift!! They know you are going to help them and are not going to hurt them. They trust you and I don’t know how you are able to establish that trust so quickly but you do !!! They know what you are doing will make them feel better so they let you do what you want to do!! Amazing!! You have a gift!!! Good job !!❤❤❤

Most laminitis cases are put down aren’t they ?
@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen7 ай бұрын
No, I wouldn’t say most cases are put down, and it depends on the cause of laminitis, there are 3 groups of laminitis, it depends also whether it’s considered as acute, subacute or chronic. Anyway the horses with laminitis need special care with adequate strict management, pasture restriction, special shoeing.
