When I got my male cat Dante almost 3 years ago poopbaths were a thing. The last kitten I raised before him - never needed such things. It's like one kitten was clean and the other just rolled in it. My white bed cover had brown paw marks.

I’m sorry, maybe this is just my own squeamishness, but I must agree with Fuji about the bare hands thing 😅 Cats do bathe themselves with the same tongues they use to clean their own butts, it’s true, but limiting the spread of poopy bacteria is important, especially with cats because toxoplasmosis is a thing. In any case, these babies are precious little floofies!! They look very well loved and cared for and they have the sweetest little mews :)

Same with my cat since she was 5 months old. I had her put down a few times for a shave and bath because her hair would get too long and tangled because she barely lets me brush her. But now she's older 14 yrs and her kidneys are acting up so they don't want to risk putting her under. So I got her body half shaved only at the groomers because she started going crazy and wouldn't let them shave her anymore 😂 these kittens are adorable that she fosters and cooperate way better❤​@@nadenhwa
