As someone who does this work, also with a partner, we have found that SO many souls get 'stuck' because of their religious beliefs and fear of being condemned because of what they did here in this life. So sad, really. That's not what religion is supposed to be about!

Jennifer its so true about what you say. I get really annoyed by certain folks on their shows make a big deal about a particular haunting and treat those with disrespect and assume that these entities as mischievous or evil. This l believe in about 80 % of haunting is not the case. There are ,however, the rare demonic forces which these "ghost hunter" celebs like to encourage.

I agree, my Gf didn't want to walk into a Church the first time she came along to one with me. She had judged herself so badly that she thought she had no right to be in a Church, in a Godly place, she shared that she thought the doors were going to catch on fire & burn because of her presence. She harshly judged herself as a terrible sinner because of things she had done in her past. So I told her that God takes us warts & all, that he is there for us at all times & it's us that walk away from him plus we were all born sinners but God will never leave us nor forsake us. I'm glad she knows different now as she could have been her own worse enemy & condemned herself for no reason to & unending pain & mental anguish, all because of religious assumptions!

I love the screams on these programs. I found a download for a cellphone ring years ago, that was just that a horror type scream. It was great. I would have loved it for my phone. How ever I worked in Mental health at the time. I had a work phone, But also carried my personal phone in case family needed to get hold of me. If it rung, or screamed while I was with a client, one it would likely give them a fright, and some, it would freaked them out. There were also some who would love it. But not really appropriate at the time.

It is so frustrating and infuriating to hear about people who actually think that if a baby is not baptized it will not go to heaven. A completely bigoted and ignorant thing to believe and to tell others. My biggest turn-off when it comes to religion is the belief that any one religion has the only ticket through the pearly gates. Okay off the soapbox and onto the cheering and praise for the rescue mediums. I wish the show was still airing.
