You are such a thoughtful and caring rescuer. You take it easy and don't make the dog feel they are being forced into situations. They get to know you care before they are put in the car and that is a good thing. Poor thing having nowhere to sleep at night, and possibly not being fed either. You'd think the school would have made a temporary shelter with soft bedding for the poor dog and then found a rescuer, but no, they just leave it to others and if nothing had been done by others, they'd just arrive for a school day one day and the dog would be dead where it slept. People are so selfish when it comes to reaching out a hand for animals in need. Glad to see he had the surgery he required and is lying around on comfortable bedding recuperating. X fingers all goes well with finding an adopter for the lovely boy.

He stayed at the school because he was grieving for the human children that disappeared from his life, or his human children might have attended that school. Thank you for rescuing him, and getting medical care for his broken leg. It will take longer to heal his broken heart.

This one really git to me 😭 These pointer hounds are so loving' and gentle and despite his painful leg and starved of food he wanted to love and be loved by Humans. I'm so very grateful for Milan saving him from further neglect, starvation and and loneliness. He deserves to be in a loving home with Children to play with and given lots of love and treats. Thank you so much for doing this. Many people in more animal-friendly countries do not understand how much do animals suffer in the rest of the world. I am from Bosnia and the same crap is happening over and over again. People would take a dog or a cat, they would not spay/neuter, they would let the dog roam, dog gets pregnant and they throw the babies into a dumpster or in a river to kill them, sometimes they throw out mama with babies, sometimes a pregnant dog, or sometimes they even kill them all together. There are laws in place but are not being followed upon. Every time I go back home, it is a nightmare to walk or drive a car. Every couple of kilometers there is a stray cat or a dog. Sometimes those little heads are poking out of the grass near the roads waiting for someone to toss them something to eat or to take them and save them from weather elements. My family and I took so many stray cats. People noticed that and started dumping their cats and kittens into our yard. We have couple of no-kill shelters run by ordinary people who struggle with money because it is really hard to adopt and save all of strays and feed them. I try to donate when I can but there are so many - same 20 people are doing everything in my home town and same 50 people are donating. This will stop only when we start punishing people and fining them with a nice amount of money. That is the only way it is going to work. I don't even want to start about other animals (farm animals). Now, I see that bunnies are becoming "in". I am sure we will be seeing more bunnies on roads. So, thank you. Anyway, writing on English so other people can understand. There are people who think this is all staged but it is not. Also, hunters would throw their dogs away when they decide they are not good enough for them. They usually toss them near roads and many end up being hit by the car or just starve to death.
