After the establishment of the Warsaw ghetto, numerous Jews settled on the "Aryan" side of the city under assumed non-Jewish identities. Many managed to survive this way after the desctruction of the ghetto, though living under constant threat of being identified and killed.
The talk highlights the heroic story of Basia and Adolf Abraham Berman who hid under false identities and were active in a clandestine network helping fellow Jews to surviv, and the Adolf Berman collection which offers insight into various rescue efforts through financial support and documentation supply.
