Goodness! There is so much learn from this - definitely one to save and rewatch a few times. I do promoted listings but just a set percentage (5%) from start to finish, but your way seems much more logical - why do it from the start when new listings get more visibility anyway? So doing it a week later makes more sense. So after Christmas I will be setting up a new routine. Many, many thanks.

That's great, so many new ways to scalp us. Also your items over 90 days is easy to see in the drop down filter of "start dates" it shows how many months and days the item has been listed. 90 days plus goes stagnant and ebay give it 50% less "air time".

hey Gorgeous George, love the video only problem is i followed this recommendation to the T by doing 5% promoted listings and put a 10% discount on what they bought and done fantastic this weekend with 53 sales and nearly 2300 quid,, and eBay in there wisdom has put all my payments on hold for 5 days to investigate my sudden up lift in my sales.. what do they want you to sell or not crazy

Never went down the rabbit-hole of promoted listings tbh. Have a few of my big multi-buy items on 2.0% and I am not even sure that does much as I have taken the promotion off and relisted with similar sales. I feel sorry for sellers that are desperate for sales and pushed into this - with that instance you gave it would be almost 1/3rd of the selling cost to Ebay. Plus shipping of course. Who in their right mind would choose that - shame on you Ebay.

Last month I made over 1500 pounds on vinted and.. 110 on ebay. If others want to get f all for their items then let them sell on ebay.

hey george!!! im tryng this now a campagin for 500 items 3% cheers looks interesting if sucess rare will use again. if possible? could you run through the benefits of having an online shop? because i tried the method of a coupon but was unable to run this promotion without having a shop? i was going to select basic shop? at 27£ per month???? whats the benefits. either a video or a response would be great, am i able to get discounted fees? basically from the typical 15%? with this shop ? thanks in advance

Let me know how the promotion goes 👍🏻 Yes if you have a business account then there's 3 shop levels you can subscribe to to 'save' money. I've got the basic £27 a month store so get 250 buy now listings for 'free' then 12p every listing after that, 100 auction listings and you can run the promo codes etc 👍🏻

I think you mean Google lens? Or on the AppStore it’s just Google, if for example your in a thrift store and you take a picture of an item in there it brings up what it currently sells for on ebay, other sites etc, and gives you product details, it’s absolutely brilliant.

Promoting at 2% killed my click through rate and didn't really improve sales at all, i'm now raising it back up after turning off promoted

Yeah that's why I chose the 3% because the 'success rate' went from 1% to 16%???

TBH promoted listings never interested me and i feel its a bit of a scam , i only sell lego and as long as your competitive and have some history (V.GOOD feedback), all you need to do is list on a regular basis, why give more money to eBay. But maybe this only works for 1 product not a generic store

If I scroll down my list of sold items every 1 in 3 sold from promoted listings that’s hundreds of extra sales and 2-3% is not a lot of money lost
