Rescued 1975 Lincoln Continental Old Start

It’s great to see you’re bringing this 75 Lincoln back to life. Last summer I found a barn rescue 75 Mercedes 240 D that my mechanic repaired and now it’s my daily driver. I’ll be happy to see your progress on this Lincoln.

This one is going to need a lot of work but should be really nice when done. A 240d makes a great daily driver, that’s a nice save.

Crossing my fingers on #2 cylinder. Hoping after it runs awhile it will come around. I figure there must be rust on the valves or valve seats preventing them from sealing well. Hopefully not a burnt valve from the awful manifold gaskets or lack of gaskets. On the plus side this thing is so roomy and easy to work on.
