Want to save one more because our neighbor got three and so far after 2 years there's one left. 😞 he let his dog kill one and the police did nothing and then the other one died because the owner doesn't watch them and just let them roam the neighborhood when he leaves his house so it got into the woods outback and ate some barberry bushes and it died so there's one left. And it hasn't been sheared or fed actual feed in over a year the poor thing is scratching itself to death trying to get its fur off every single day and it has a feed trough for real feed and we have a perfect view of the trough from our yard and the only thing that has changed is the spiderweb in it there hasn't been any real food put in the trough in a long long time. The man's wife left him because he is so lazy and neglects their dogs as well. They had 5 dogs and they are down to one dog as well. He has a fence but instead of letting us help fix the section that fell down he just pulled it out of the way so the dogs ended up on the highway and got hit and I can show you loads of video of the last alpaca left roaming on the railroad tracks and next to the highway while the owner isn't home for hours. These poor animals need care badly 😢 and our local law enforcement won't do anything and all the neighbors have called them the one neighbor has video of the owners dog attacking the one alpaca that died from the attack 😞 we don't know what else to do

Oh and the area he has for a yard is about 50ft by 20ft give or take a few feet . And basically their backyard is a shoebox size yard with a house and garage smoothed into it and two pine trees so the animals have zero area to graze at all there I'd no grass that grows under the two trees in the yard so the last alpaca left gets no room, no real feed, we can't seem to see where he has water for it other than puddles in his driveway when it rains.. its such a sad sight and the entire neighborhood has called everyone possible and nothing is done at all. The police have been there atleast 4 times just for animal neglect and abuse calls from the entire neighborhood that's the only reason they even show up at all. And it's such a small town there isn't a real animal control at all if you need a dog catcher the closest one is 30 minutes or so away. He should be put in prison for how the last alpaca is cared for ( lack there of)... wish you guys/girls were closer to us here in PA so the last surviving alpaca could get a proper home and he could get punished for how he just opens the fence and leaves it open and hasn't pulled it shut in atleast 5 months or more and he does it when he is gonna be gone so the poor animal is gonna end up getting hit by a car like the last dog did or worse since we are on the edge of town we get black bears, coyotes, and fox that frequent our front and back yards so its a matter of time til either an animal get the alpaca or a car.. 😞

Then you don't understand the majority of people who work in conservative, rehabilitation, rescue, etc. But most of you sitting on the couch doing nothing but judging do share this opinion.

Then help me understand: why do you choose to have compassion for two animals, going out of your way to rescue them at a significant cost to yourself, yet continue to pay for many other animals to be unnecessarily hurt and killed when there are alternatives?

@@sam3524 you can have compassion for animals being raised for food. Im considering the quality of life. Im not like you pretending that I am not an animal myself with needs. There is no alternative, being vegan isn't about an alternative to killing animals. Being vegan is just about following a self-righteous act in which you have a fake thing to be condescending about. Our entire lives are part of a give and take system that you will never escape from. You take life in order to live and while you might make an effort to not consume animal products, you still do unknowingly and you still benefit from many other things that involve animal products. So the only thing you need to understand, is that I am not a condescending self-righteous fanatic like you.
