Aerial Ladders Used as Artificial High Directionals (AHD)

First of all, an aerial ladder is a class 3 lever and your figures of tip load are completely underrated. That said there is no “robust history” of aerial ladder failure due to use as a high point anchor. I fact I could only find 1 example of this and it was likely more due to the condition of the apparatus than its use as a high point anchor. I like your stuff usually but I get the feeling you have not spent much time around aerial ladders. I have spent 18 years around them.

Just a note. The left tower truss is not assembled correctly. The diagonals on the truss is missalligned. It should be a continous zig zag pattern going upwards.
