Let me ask you one question, our dear Lost Link: when doing videography involving cosplay, are you capturing people in costumes or characters those costumes are supposed to represent?

+ピリポさん I most often look for characters that I know. But I also seek out costumes that are well made or look really good for that cosplayer. For example the character with the large horns in this video is one that I am not familiar with but that I thought looked visually striking. So I asked her to be in the video.

Good answer (^_^)w That's pretty much what I've been doing.... well, at least during the biggest events like Comiket, WF, AJ, TGS, or choukaigi. When I became a regular at cosplay events around Tokyo and got to know a lot of cosplayers better, I've been spending biggest chunk of the time with people I simply enjoyed working with (^_^;) Gods how I miss that....
