Do not take bird in AC, given for a few minutes as I did. I took it to vet to show it's leg deformity and it died, as it had to be in AC for an hour. Worst mistake I made. Also, do not take it in AC, the mistake which I did, which eventually led to it's death. It was in AC for only an hour but it was enough to take it's life. Thanks for the information. I tried my best today to help a pigeon. I googled a lot to save him and I felt everything is going great but don’t know suddenly it started to lose the breath. The sad reality is I couldn’t find any bird specialist nearby and normal vets does not know how to treat a bird. I am literally overwhelmed today as it took its last breath in my arms.

First of all it's great to hear that you tried your best to help him, that itself is applaudable Sometimes it's not in our control and definitely we can't be as good as its biological mother. Atleast you rescued the baby and it died in a safe environment. Keep learning, keep rescuing.

sounds like aspiration, thats the hardest part of feeding babies is sometimes feeding will go into their airways and they suffocate or aspirate and cause pneumonia and they will just die a slow death or sometimes a quick death. if the food you are giving it is too watery it is more likely to be swallowed wrong and end up in the lungs. the consistency of the baby bird food should be thick as pudding.

Thank you so much for the detailed video. I felt so guilty for separating the babies from its mother unintentionally. I just wanted to move its nest to better and safer place 😔 as i was raining heavily and the nest could be swiped out because of the torrential rain. I didn't know that the mother abandons the babies if relocated. I will give my 💯 and take care of the babies. I hope god forgives me for the sin I've committed 😢

Hi , very informative video indeed. On my window ledge Pigeons made nest, 2 babies were born and almost mature, when the mother Pigeon laid 2 more eggs in the same nest !!!. It was all very dirty and I think new babies got Pigeon Pox. Parents I feel now donot want them hitting and pushing them out from nest, one baby died after falling, to the other one, I hv started hand feeding, but can you pl tell any cure for Pigeon Pox as his eyes are still closed and wart like outgtowths over eyes ears and neck area. Hi, it's incredible to know that you at this age are so sensitive to observe and react to the situation. I would suggest you to observe the baby tomorrow as well and then take a decision on it. Meanwhile you can take boiled rice in your tiffin, and feed it at the end of the day if the mother doesn't come. There is a short posted on my channel about how to feed a baby pigeon, you can watch it before going to school if possible.

Try to have it's beak in your fingers making 🤏 (use all fingers), most likely it will open the beak Then you can use the syringe. Btw age kya hai?

No you should avoid it since cerelac is milk based, bird's digestive system doesn't absorb it well. Porridge/plain daliya boiled in water would be a better choice, make sure it doesnt have any masala or flavour

You can give boiled rice but it just provides carbs, for protiens you must give lentils, once you boil the daliya, it would be fine to eat, also you can start with plains oats and alternatively give daliya. Feed both of these things using a syring, the baby will be able to eat it

It's fine for now, but make sure to dilute it for further dressings. Let it be comfortable for a while, prepare a bedding for it. Feed it after it gets a little comfortable, don't feed it water or milk. Make a slurry of plain boiled oats n you can feed that to it through a needleless syringe

Hello I found a enjured baby pigeon. He is not eating anything since 2 dyas. & no one is there to support me to save the life. Can any one suggest any ngo or anyone who can take care of pigeon.

For now you can try feeding it what I've mentioned in the video and the way I've told it. The ngo depends upon the area you live in, voice for animals or people for animals or rehabber's den can be some that you might find near you. You can search on Google for that
