I ugly cried. Rabbits should not be treated like this. When the man said “he’s having a moment”. No it was trying to binkie. I have a bunny named Rupert. This is his story. He was adopted as a baby. His owners decided to get rid of him on the streets. One day he snuck into a woman’s house and she called a rescue. (Thank god) he was at the rescue for a couple months and then my family adopted him. The woman who owns the rescue is awesome. She knows how to take care of them. ikr ! my cousin has a bunny but he doesnt take care of it and says to my sis when she holds him " you dont know how to take care of rabbits ! put HIM DOWN! " I'm always like in my mind " you dont know how to take care of bunnies , you yourself hold the bunnies by their ears , feed them the food which they are NOT SUPPOSED TO EAT & keep him in a small cage where atleast a bird coudn't fly and hv no feeding time for him " poor bunnies :(

I quickly read up on this briefly and the main reasons why cops usually don't get involved in animal cruelty cases is because they are not equipped to deal with animals or animal cruelty whereas the RSPCA is equipped to deal with these kinds of things. as the cops said, they deal with humans not animals and are untrained in the field of animal cruelty.

courtney fasnd but it’s as easy as going down the street and calling the rspca if it were true. Lorelei did not have to work as hard as she did to spread awareness to this as much as she did because the police could’ve and should’ve just at least go down the street and see if she was telling the truth, and if so, call animal services. This is amazing what Lorelei did for these animals. I cried seeing the conditions the bunnies were in and how thirsty they were when he finally gave them water. The only problem with this is you'll be making it worse because they're domestic bunnies, they don't have the same instincts as your average wild cottontail. That's like putting all cats into the wild. They don't know how to hunt properly. I adopted a bunny from a shelter about a month ago she has literally saved my life after 3 years of depression I finally have a friend! She is my world and my joy! I love her so much and I know I wasn't able to adopt more than 1 but it already took 4 1/2 years to convince my parents to let me rescue a bunny! "They don't drink water?" *"Yes."* The fact that these living creatures are not getting any water and that it's so hot outside yet there is no AC upsets me. They're probably beyond dehydrated and could be having trouble regulating their body temperatures, and it's dangergous for any living thing (especially humans and animals) to exceed their regular temperatures. I was so in shock I started tearing up. I can't believe these people have the audacity to not only sell these incredibly adorable and sweet animals in such horrible conditions, but also give such brief, misleading information to buyers. It upsets me that people are capable of doing that. It's sick and disgusting. I'm so ashamed, but so glad that there are amazing people like you that share these incidents and help informs others and actually make a change. I adopted 2 bunnies last year, one of them passed away sadly, but my other one, who used to be very aggressive and scared of people, is now just the sweetest and most curious bunny ever. She loves to binky around, lick my face and hands and even flops next to me. It breaks my heart to see rabbits in such awful conditions.

I got a pet from a place like this, she was sick and had diarrhoea, she eventually became better but it took a few weeks to get her eating properly and drinking and get healthy. She died a few years later as that was her lifespan but walking into a place like that, your heart just shatters.

Especially the fact that they’re on wired cages, and they can’t escape there feet will definitely end up injured this makes me so mad and I hope all these animals got/get adopted into loving and well cared for homes because they all deserve it. I have a rabbit! :D This touched my heart considering they had NO WATER! The man "ye they just eat pelets".. NO THEY DO NOT! I feed my bunny greens and fruit and LOTS OF HAY! She has a big cage as well and we let her roam around the house as well! This vid really touched me! Rabbits should have rights to be treated right in a good envrioment! We have donated hundreds of money to shelters for them to be safe, cozy, fit, happy! We bought my bunny in a rescue place she was fine but she didnt have much room to explore. yeah the no water and no hay bothered me a lot too and the fact that he said he would feed them fruit when fruit should only be a treat (to high in sugar). I was worried that one of the rabbits on the end was not alive because it didn't seem to be doing anything. I am glad they are out of that condition altogether and hopefully will become someones fuzzy buddy ;).

Please read, I know that Lorelei might not read this but it might happen: Sat here crying 😢, watching the bunnies drink all of that water just teared me up! You inspire me I couldn’t imagine my rabbit living like that he’s a free roamer and he is so happy to be free! I bought him at a pet store he was in a large cage as he was in a shop but they told us all the information needed telling us to rabbit proof our house and that we could take the bars of of his cage to use that for his litter box she also told us to get him some leafy greens and give him half a cup of Timothy pellets for every meal. She was really helpful and made sure that buddy (my rabbit) was going to have a lovely life which is why she gaves us a generous amount of hay (meadow hay because he preferred it) for free as she was super happy that he was finally going home with a loving family, I’m only 12 but when I found your Chanel i knew everything about taking care of my rabbit I love him so much. I give him the love and attention needed and clean his cage 2 times a week as it is quite large. I’m a very responsible young women and I would never give away my buddy even for my dream pet which would probably be a rabbit anyway 😂. I wish that every pet shop which sells animals would like the one where I got my pet from. He was adopted as his previous owners thought that rabbits should stay in a cage outside and that they ruin their furniture. Thanks to you all of these horrible people are getting what they deserve as all of the emotions I feel when I watch this video makes me so grateful that my rabbit is not in this condition, I will do anything for my rabbit!

One of my pet bunnies, Bailey, passed away about a month ago. He sadly had to be put to sleep because of a large tumour that was pressing on his windpipe and lungs. My other bunny Fudge was very upset over his "disappearance" the first couple of days. He's luckily pretty much back to normal now though. Because I don't want Fudge to grow up all alone (both he and Bailey are/were only about 4 years old), I decided to get in contact with a local rabbit shelter. Apparently they're currently packed with rabbits, due to summer holidays just having started, leading to lots of people dumping their rabbit in the woods. I really want to be able to give such a bunny a second chance at life (that and I kinda want to give Fudge a new buddy who's roughly the same age as him). This monday I'll be visiting the rabbit rescue centre to have Fudge start dating with some of the bunnies there, in order to find him a new partner.
