Love This koi pond ! Great depth, and the shade most people don't realize how much the love shade. Beautiful fish, you can always tell when Koi are happy the colors are vibrant and intense, not like dull and maybe like only skimpy skin thick. This is exceptional set up way to go, I want Roland to have a live stream on his own utube

I fell in love with Koi on my first trip to Hawaii, when we visited the Hananuma shopping mall in the huge 3 story home. Those fish were so happy healthy hungry and huge!

Well done Rescue. Thank you Roland for letting us visit. Always nice to get new DIY ideas and see what others are doing. Cool Pond property but I would hate to rely on my neighbors upstream to be respectful to my space and water quality. Also it looks like there is nothing preventing fish from entering the overflow pipe. I personally wouldn't put effort in to that pond with out some alterations. Just some thoughts. Sorry for pointing out the negative, but I still feel you are doing great overall. Make a great week.

Oh nah it’s all good there’s actually a grid that sits under the water just below the waters surface but cant see it on the video smaller fish could probably fit but not the bigger fish for sure🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

Hi! Just a question here. Would you say that adding koi/golfish to a pond of this magnitude could damage or influence the more native species? Ive heard that goldfish and koi can be quite invasive and with a pond like this that is connected to several other ponds, is there a way to keep them from migrating/ over populating? Just curious! 😄

Oh the ponds over the three ponds are connected but fish from pond to pond cannot mix due the way the water over flows into on another it’s totally Safe 🤙🏽♥️🤙🏽

Raccoons are the worst here in California! They will destroy everything! Have to keep my ponds covered. That plant floating in the pond isn't duck weed. It's Azolla or Fairy Fern. Common floater. In the fall it turns reddish brown to bright red. Very nutritious. And helps to cut down on mosquitoes. But, it does grow like duck weed! 😉 Will provide shade and food for the koi. 🤗

I had just got pH on the right level then I fell at home carrying a 5000btu window unit up the stairs hmm not bad for 75 but cord got stuck and oh well, then this happened. I loss hugo Wednesday 30 inch 11 lb bronze beauty. Gone to destructive teenagers say oh man we thought it was a fire pit. Hmm wow. Any suggestions on trying to start over on a budget.
