I used a smaller version of that saw for nearly 20 years, in a toolshop. Sure miss having it to use now! Super handy to be able to weld up and anneal a new blade, right on the spot.

Tĥat GE motor might be for the grinder on the welder. 3 horsepower for the blade drive should do anything you want. That Reeves sheave might be available from other places. Outdoor sports equipment like snowmobiles and other vsd equipment might fit.
