I engaged in a profession before that has to deal with this kind of thing - to have to answer those questions on what, when, where, who and why, and how - on a daily basis, with a daily deadline, too. It was quite easy to mess things up if it was done on a daily basis. Then, I engaged in in-depth researches as a sort of quasi-academic pursuit, culminating in filing a few dossiers and opinion write-ups. I see you explain all these quite succinctly in this and a few of your other research method presentations. They are quite succinct and educational.

This video helps me with my jargon so I appreciate the post. I am trying to improve my vocabulary in certain areas. It doesn't matter how much you understand a subject if you can not use the correct language to convey it. It also helps to organize and how to use the information I have accumulated and journaled. As well as future hypothesise I might have. My biggest problem with my research is just how many questions I have so it is hard to filter them one at a time.

It's a very noble service that you are doing Dr. Amgad Badewi, I have benefited a lot from your lectures. It's very unfortunate that I found your lectures so late, I am in the 4th year of my PhD, here the problem is we don't get any guidance from supervisors at all mainly becuase if the language barrier. Many doctoral students get lost here and mostly get into depression. I desparately need to finish my PhD as my funding has exhausted I am on my own, very worried as a result I am in desparate condition to complete and at the same time I am still at very basic level of research. Your method is explaining is fantastic as you take very little prior knowledge for granted.
