Attention: the monitor loadout DOES NOT WORK RELIABLY. The gold twin 127 does not fire fast enough to kill 8-4 suicide boats that arent comming right in the middle. I'll suggest using the twin 128 SKC instead.

I don't think you should forgo the PR ships until late. By coordinating one of the fleets you're leveling to match the requirements for the PR ship, then the exp grind happens naturally as you level your fleets. I'm setting up my map clearing fleet to be the one to farm for Saint Louis EXP. I make the back line a group of support main fleet (Unicorn, greedy cat, ect) that boost the vanguard's damage and survival. Unless you meant dedicated farming EXP for them, which imo is silly. Since you get EXP for anything you do, you might as well just have a fleet with units in the proper category when farming another resource, 2 birds with one stone.

There is a collection value to re-run ships, but if you are going to get them just for their strengths, they'll just end up getting powercreeped. A good example here is the introduction of Amagi. I literally can't stop using her now because she's such a powerhouse. You're right though some re-runs would be nice for some less fortunate players, perhaps even a nep rerun? (god damnit black heart why)

Wait I'm confused, let's say for Saint Luis I'm using Cleveland in 7-4map. Every battle there won is about 600exp on avarage. So if I added Minneapolis and helena then every battle won there would be (600×3) 1800exp, doing five battles (min needed to proc the boss) there and then the boss would be about (low balling (600×3)=1800×6=10,600) 10,000 minimum exp towards Saint Louis, so dosen't that mean that all I have to do is 100 normal runs for 1mil exp, 200 runs for 2mil exp and 300 runs for 3mil exp. If you did 10 runs a day that's only 10 days for 1mil or 30 days for 3 mil right? So the biggest issue is the oil cost and the backrow, having the vanguard be max level and having a low cost backrow that can survive is the best way to farm exp right?

Thanks for the great videos, but i have a question! :) At 4:04 you say "Using this method each battle should take less than 30 oil, so your oil count should be okay even if an event hits." My question is - does EXP gained in event battles count toward the 3m EXP goal? You could just play the event with appropriate fleets and keep gaining experience, right? a little tip for ibukis exp grind. When you have yubari, use her. She is a cl and has a skill that gives your cruisers a 15% exp bonus.

Hi, sorry if that's repeating questions but, I've started to actively farm for izumo and I'm using a nagato as flagship. She's fully maxed out and stuff. Yesterday everything was fine, I've farmed until they got moody, so I left the game and started again today. Suddenly nagato is now earning zero exp. On 1:05 it's said that it counts even if they have stacked exp already and even if it shows +0 but after taking out my leech ships and playing for an hour, the progress bar didn't moved at all... So, what happened? It's the very first time I've seen a ship getting +0 exp in story stages, I have multiple lv120 and they still get exp too...

Ships can gain up to 3Mil EXP after Lv.120, so I think your Nagato is maxed out. BTW gaining EXP after 120 is a pretty bad move, you lose so much fleet tech points by having those exp on Lv.120 ships.

for backline, getting MVP+Flagship=3x exp, adding 1 more battle ship only gives 1x more total exp. Worth if you have a lot of oil.

@@arting18 you need both at Lv.110 to do it and you cant fight large main fleet on chapter 10 yet, that will have to wait until Lv.115+. For now I suggest doing chapter 9 with 1:1 fleet, its way easier than ch10-11.

Second one is just for HP. Torp bulge is also viable as a replacement to a second kit. Fire extinguisher is fine too if enemies with HE shells are common on the map you're farming.

Yes. You can check the wiki for xp per map. Its why technically 12-4 is best, but some people prefer 7-2 for coins or other lower maps to spare oil.

After the latest update in CN/JP, LB0 is definitely a thing in the past. If you use the middle slot to level the weaker ships while suppressing LBs as far as possible I get it, but you just cannot waste any exp by not LB-ing at all.

@@TheBigSad8247 You get the opportunity to give stat bonus (although it is very small) to the entire fleet by having more ships, max LB them, and max level(120) them. Three conditions are counted separately, but the game clearly intends to penalize the LB0 thing. In fact the aforementioned stat bonus only applies to the ships on your fleet that are max LB-ed.

Thats just now how it is. There is no "waste EXP" if you are not gonna use the low rarity ship you leveled. And 90% of the player base don't level commons to Lv.120.

The experience farm is surprisingly a non issue. I just do my map farming with the houston, indi, Omaha. I get 2k exp a fight and loot/gold at the same time. 1 million exp in a week with auto battle while I do other things.

it depends on ur ship. I farm on 8-4 too and using auto with my phoenix and cassin or downes with 1 BB. Well my phoenix can eat damage so it is fine btw make sure that ur 8-4 is 0 threat or Safe level to farm easy.

For the season 2 research panel, you can specifically choose research tendency: either S1 or S2, so these stuff will still be available. Also, s2 will likely to hit in at least a year, so no rush...Also, you will soon find out that it is a far less time consuming task to farm out those exp for each PR ship when compared to collecting all their blueprints to max out their power lv...

yes, you can use any hms battleship or battlecruiser for grinding monarch.

7-2 is better for Roon grind if you don't have any good KMS CL/CA, and even then if you pick the wrong Main Fleet character they will die quite fast because the KMS CL/CA's can't destroy suicide boats fast enough, unless they happen to run into it.

Late comment but ain't it easier just to calculate how many ships you have from that specific faction and category, divide them to 3.000.000 exp and then estimate how many levels each ship needs? So far for me, it works(even if I don't have any big level ship, I only have one with like 96 level). I don't grind them everyday or anything but I have 30% for 1.000.000 exp in two weeks or so(I don't grind them much, I only send them on commissions to keep up with the events and stuff). This is just my opinion though(and a question as well), I learned new tactics for grinding the other ships from this so thank you!

Commission xp doesn't count though, just combat. Its easy to mess up this calculation of you use ANY other xp methods like dorm pvp, commissions, academy...

theyre needed to limit break season 1 PR ships, you need 343 ship bps per PR ship to max rank them getting them in the AI exchange will speed up your 1st PR ship LB

Using QE is almost a given if you want to use multiple HMS ships to get Monarch. Nelson and Rodney also are good for escort fleet clearing (especially if you level their skills; and most likely, the majority of your EXP will come from escort fleet clears). As for Hyuuga, I assume you either mean non-retrofit Hyuuga or to use retrofit Hyuuga just as a boost, because Retrofit Hyuuga is an aviation battleship (And thus doesn't count for Izumo). Izumo is a toughie to get if you don't have the event battleships, though. But Mutsu also has the big 7 skill, which is good for escort fleet clearing (and leech if you have her at LB0). EDIT: Retrofit Hyuuga does count. Yay.

Brooklyn is a great ship she has Artillery command to buff cruisers in the fleet. Id probably run Phoenix, Brooklyn and Minnie since this'll be one of the cheaper but effective cruiser setups. Bonus points for tan skin
