Fabric Consumption very much important for a garments manufacturers company, because 40%-60% cost covered by fabric. So, correct fabric consumption calculation is very much important to achieve maximum profit.
A Woven Long Sleeve Shirt consists with the following parts:
1. Body Parts ( body length + chest width)
2. Sleeve
3. Collar
4. Cuff
5. Collar band
6. Pocket

Also i mention, if this shirt consist double yoke then extra yoke consumption must be needed But your adding multiply 2 should be remove from your calculation & then yoke consumption will be 1.55 yds/dzn..... please check.... The whole upper calculation is in CM (Centimeter). To convert the CM to Inch it was needed to divide the whole upper calculation by 2.54. And after that the whole upper inch calculation needed to be divided by 36 to make it yards.

The measurement of actual Fabric for making the final garment! And it's not constant. According to the final-garment, fabric width can be of any range! Usually for Basic Woven Shirt, 54 or 55 inch is the ideal number!
