Thank you for the video. I had a question - which hypotheses results either from model 1 or 2 to take as the final hypotheses testing results?

In my study, I have control variables in the form of statements (Latent variable). So in this case, where should I connect it? To the dependent one only or should I connect to the mediating and moderating variable too?

Thanks for this informative video! I have a problem, that the model fit decreases when I include control variables in the model. Should I exclude the control variables in this case?

Very helpful video. I need to know, should I also link the control variables to independent variables in the PLS model? Thank you
@RESEARCHHUB3 жыл бұрын
No, control variable should be linked only with endogenous variables but not with exogenous (or independent) variables.

This video shows how to incorporate a control variable into PLS-SEM. We appreciate your nice words. I'm curious as to whether I should use SPSS tools to create a dummy variable for the control variable.

Sir, your video was really helpful. Thank you for this. I have a question though - If I have 2 categorical demographic variables (one with 4 categories and the second with 3 categories) that I want to include as control variables, should I include a total of 5 control variables (3(4-1) + 2(3-1))?

If the demographic variables are categorical, do I need to transform them to dummy? If so, how should I include them in the model?

Hi Dr. This video is a godsend. Thank you for this But in this video, you took gender as control variable, which is a nominal variable. If I want to use income level as a control variable with 3 categories (an ordinal variable), do I still need to convert it into a dummy variable and introduce 2 dummies as control variable, or I can take it as it is because it is an ordinal variable. Please help. I am stuck with my research. Thank you!

Very nice video. I've got a question for you which that I have got a Google Scholar account that was created based on my institutional email id. If I change my current institution, then how will I retrieve my Google scholar account as my personal Gmail account does not work for Google Scholar? Thank you

You can update to another institutional email

what if the control variable is a latent construct?
