This was good information. Oddly enough, I live in western NY state and have never researched here until last week, all my prior U.S. research has been down south. I ran across a possible Ancestor (all of the Ancestry world thinks so, I don't believe it yet) who was born in Nine Partners as well and they ended up in Kentucky as Shakers. You gave me research clues for this place as I wasn't quite sure what it was. Thanks! :)
