Sample Size Calculation can be problematic when using Structural Equation Modeling. In this video titled: Introducing G*Power for Sample Size Calculation for Structural Equation Modeling, we will focus on the use of G*Power tool for Sample Size Calculation for a study based on Structural Equation Modeling.

Sir, by this method, if I have to do MGA, then the sample size which is shown by g power is the total sample size I require , or the sample size required for each of my group?

if our model consists of 3 control variables (i.e. age, income level, education level). These control variables point to the outcome variable. Should we count in the 3 control variables into "number of predictors" in the G*Power software?

No need to include the control variables.

Please tell what to do if i have three groups? How many samples to be taken in each group? I want to do ANOVA, & Linear Multiple regression and find out the differences between the three groups.

Hello Sir, my study hv 1 IV (3 dimensions), 1 moderator and 1 mediator (2 dimensions). What would be the expected number of predictors? Can u briefly explain from the minute 3.30-3.33 of your video related to the added predictor if we have a moderator? I am not clear with the term mentioned. Pls help. Thx

im using Hayes model 7, using one iv, one dv, one moderator and one mediator. how many predictors should i put? thanks

Looks like 4 if moderator is only moderating one relationship.

What is the difference between linear model regression fixed midel r2 derived from zero and Fixed model r2 increased
@researchwithfawad
@researchwithfawad 5 ай бұрын
the key difference lies in the perspective: "Derived from zero" emphasizes the comparison with a null model, while "Fixed Model R^2 Increased" focuses on the improvement in explanatory power achieved by adding fixed effects to the model. Both concepts are related and often used in the context of fixed-effects regression models to assess the impact of individual-specific effects on the dependent variable.
