Hi, any idea how to get rid of that warning guidance notification? I had used a non stock key to start my car, it functions fine. But it comes with a warning of keyless malfunction. I have not been able to clear the warning guidance message yet. I noticed in this video you too have a warning message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@@ashwinb6947 the light is on the dash in the video because the engine is not on and the battery is being used so a bunch of other lights illuminate. I doubt you can get rid of that warning message without getting a stock key, but I am unsure.

@@Theocdrepairman i do have a stock key as well. Purchased a preowned car which came with only 1 stock key. I got a duplicate key for backup. I use my stock key on a daily basis, but am unable to clear it. thanks for your response though. I will continue the search for this answer 😁

@@ashwinb6947 I did some research and found these few items…If you haven’t already unhook the car battery for a long time and then reconnect… if that doesn’t work you may want to replace the key battery..If that doesn’t solve it then, turn on the accessory mode by pressing the engine start button - you will not start the car and will see the "Keyless System Malfunction" message; press the brake pedal so that your car can be started now; use your key fob and press the engine start button exactly with the fob - this will help your vehicle identify the key... if that doesn’t work “then a very common issue of the exterior keyless entry antenna disconnecting, The antenna is placed in the driver's door and to get to it, you will need to take off the plastic interior panel. The connector is really shabby and may fall off”…if that doesn’t work “1. Simultaneously press and hold the lock and unlock buttons on the key fob for 60 seconds. 2. During this time, the interior car lights may flash or the horn may beep, indicating that the system has been reset. 3. If the reset was successful, test the keyless system to see if it is functioning properly.”
