Reset & Reborn

Most questions about my transition can be answered in this video that I created to break the news to my friends and family. It's basically a quick and brief snapshot of my life upto my transition which began on March 23, 2017. I began working on this video mid 2016 and it includes a short "confessional" filmed in 2013. My heart is on my sleeves, wounds are wide open and I'm practically standing naked and exposed for all to see- please be gentle with comments and criticism. I would prefer to not have to edit or monitor comments.

Emotional, thoughtful, raw. Thank you Barbie for sharing with your friends and family these ideas, thoughts, feelings, and details about your life and transition. Reminds me of the end of Hedwig and the Angry Inch -- when Hedwig goes out fully naked and exposed into an alley way and then out into the world.. Giving up the wigs and makeup and just shows himself/herself to the world. Vulnerable, but so unapologetic and so real. OMG I gotta go grab a cocktail. Shit's real. LOL.

You are such a strong person and I think I speak for many others when I say we Love you and will always be here for you . Thank you so much for sharing such private and personal information with us. You could really help a lot of people that are dealing with these types of issues and help them through it vers what so many have sadly done which is take there own lives. It would also be a type of therapy (if you will say) for yourself. We love you Barbie!!!
