I had problems with mine not running. Tried to reset using cv8 and change it to 8 and it did nothing. Tried your way and it works now. Thanks

You mentioned NCE decoders respond to CV30 set to "2". Does that work for any decoder -ESU, etc? Thanks

Sorry for the delay in this. I suggest you review ESU’s web site for the correct value. This varies by mfg. one source I found indicates that it is CV 8 with a value of 8. But this video was only regarding NCE decoders. Thanks for watching.

Thank you so much!!! I had three locos that were non responsive after I tried programming them... after watching this all locos came back to life with the default setting of "3" unfortunately all locos still won't respond after I program them...🤔😐

It is similar but BLI uses a different brand of decoder so likely has a different cv for resetting. Thanks for watching
