This is a song dedecated to Albanian Luma Valley fighters who fought against Serbian regular army of King Karageorgovic and Prime Minister Pashic. This battle took place in 1912 at north Albanian Luma Valley region on the neck hill of the Kolosian and continued throughout the villages of the Drini river where Albanians of this region defeated 18000 Serbian well Russian equiped and armed. In this battle the Serbian Prince Marko Karageorgevic who was leading the Serbian army was cought alive and his head was choped off and was sent to Serbian king as a symbol of not daring to step on Albanian soil which they had used to masacre Albanian civilians.

Kam shum pak informata por kam lexuar qe pjesa e Maqedonis e ashtuquajtur Reka (fjale e sllavizuar qe vjen nga fjala LUME) e Eperme i perkaste ksaj krahine. Ne fakt, si ne tipare si ne temperament dhe sidomos ne dialekt kush ka origjina nga Reka e Eperme ka shum dallim nga Pollogu ose zonat tjera te Maqedonis, ku kryesisht flitet dialekt dibran. Dialekti esht shum i lasht, ngjason me shkodren po ka edhe influencaa toske dhe veshjet jan shum karakteristike...Gjeografikisht gjendet mes Mavroves dhe Gostivarit, ne kufi me Shqipnin.

About 21,800 troops were engaged in the military units for the occupation of Luma, because according to the data of the Serbian command, without the "humiliation of Luma" and the possession of the banks of the Drin, the strategic plans proclaimed by the Serbian government of Nikola Paii nuk could not be realized. To this end, General Jankoviua addressed the people of Luma with a letter requesting that the following requirements be met: 1. That the nobility, and the rich come to talks without weapons; 2. The party should guarantee the delivery of rifles from their villages, if they want to live in "comfort" with us, and this is the main condition; 3. To disarm the Albanians coming from Kosovo, Llapjani, Hasjani, Prizren, Dukagjini, etc., who are among them and those who have fought against us; 4. Hand over, or at least indicate where Isa Boletini is, hand over Ramadan Zaskoc, Riza Beun, Islam Spahiu from Kolesjani and Bajram Daklani; 5. Albanian resistance In the face of the invading operations of the Serbian army, thousands of Albanian fighters were found in the provinces of Luma, Has, Vërrin, Opoja and Gora, as well as those who had withdrawn from the depths of Kosovo after its occupation. On this occasion, the high mountains of Pashtrik (where the province of Has and the Gjakova Highlands lay), as well as the natural tributaries of Sharr - (the mountains of Gjallica and Pikëllima (Koretnik), across the Drini i Bardhë), where the villages of the region gravitate. of Vërrin, Opoja and Gora, from natural fortresses were turned into war fortresses. Given these geostrategic positions, Albanian forces were positioned on the front line: Gjakova Highlands (Morina Pass - Prush Pass) - Has (Planej-Gorozhup) - Zhur Pass - Vërri (Billushë - Jeshkovë - Lybeqevë - Lez) - Sharr (western slopes of "Guri i Zi" - Opoja (Llapushnik Gorge). In order to prevent the passage of Serbian troops across the river, along the Drini i Bardhë, the war council organized timely ambushes in the villages: Shalqin, Domaj, Gjinaj, Brut, Ura e Vezirit ... Such ambushes were set up on the western shores. of Drini i Zi as: in Kolsh, Mamëz, Surroj, Tejdrinë. 4. In these positions were the Albanian defense forces, when on November 9 and 10, 1912, the operations of the Serbian III army started in the direction of Luma. The first bloody battle in "Qafë të Zhurit" The first bloody battle on the borders of the Luma took place at Qafë i Zhurit and continued to the Morina Gorge. In this locality, the Serbian army suffered heavy blows for 2-3 days in a row, leaving many dead and wounded on the battlefield and weapons. After this failure, the invading Serbian army in revenge, in the village of Zhur took hostage 37 Albanians, who were then sent to Prizren in order to put pressure on the people, not to further support the uprising. After a reorganization with new units, the Serbian army moved again in the direction of Luma. The Albanian forces, now in front of the units of the "Shumadia-1" division, in order not to be damaged, withdrew by conducting sporadic fighting, along the banks of the Drini i Bardhe and the slopes of Koretnik and Gjallica On the morning of 15 November 1912, the War Council gave the order to attack Serbian units from several directions of the front. Thanks to the configuration of the mountainous terrain, bad weather (rain and thunder), although poor in means of war, the lumjans released as an avalanche on the enemy forces, in the hills of Kolesjan managed to annihilate hundreds of Serb soldiers, while from their ranks martyred: Ibrahim H. Zeqiri - mayor of Radomira, Nexhip Dullë Visha from Kolesjani, Rexhep Jonuz Taci, Selman Asllan Nërguti, Halim Shehu and Daut Basha from Shtiqni etc. Meanwhile, due to the strong resistance, the Serbian forces withdrew from Kolesjani and the hills of Gabrica and were positioned on the southern shores of Sheja and on the eastern shores of the Drini i Zi, while the Albanian forces crossed the line: Mustafaj - Osmanaj - Bushat village (Kodra of Bushat). Regrouping of Albanian forces The War Council, after a regrouping of Albanian forces on the ground, on 16 November continued unabated the attack on Serbian forces and the bloody clashes took place mainly on the left side of the Sheja stream. Exactly in these critical moments for the coronation of success, in Lume arrived hundreds of Dibra led by prominent leaders Baftjar Doda, Xhafer Doda, Elez Isufin, Isuf Xhelili, etc., who on the battlefields brought 2-3 balls that once had occupied the Turks. The Serbian army shot (attacked) from all sides, in panic left the battlefield, leaving many killed and drowned in Dri and the Sheja stream. To take advantage of the situation, the War Council had already moved from Kolesjani to the area of ​​Zbor - Nanga, and there defined two offensive directions (with 3 groups) for the further pursuit of the Serbian invaders: - The first group: headed, on the left side through the footpath to lead from Nanga to Gostil - to the River Tower; - The second group: on the pedestrian road that leads from Nanga to Shtiqën, Përbreg to Morinë; - The third group: (in the role of reserve) was used as support for both wings (groups) of the attack. - Meanwhile, the other striking force that had to do with the fate of the Battle of the River, was the organization of resistance on both sides of the White Drin: a. In Tërthoren Përbreg - Gjegjë - Bardhoc - Morinë - Qafa e Zhurit - Vërri (Billushë) - Guri i Zi (Opojë) - Sharr; AND b. on the other side Hasi (Pashtrik) - Gjakova Highlands. In order to prevent the departure of the new Serbian forces from Prizren in the direction of Luma, fierce fighting took place in the area of ​​Vërrin. In the line Dobrusht - Qafa e Zhurit - Billushë - Lez - Leskovec, there was frontal and side fighting. Serbian units in these fights tried to break the front line in Vërri, in order to penetrate into Opoja and Gora from where it was thought to attack the Lumjani from behind, but they did not succeed.

Serbian military units tried to regroup and re-position themselves on Galipa Hill and Zbor i Nangëve, but these attempts also failed miserably. The Serbian wrecking units, after losing hundreds of other soldiers on this battlefield, abandoned the defensive line Shtiqën - Drini i Zi.
