I just ordered the reshoevenator and I've been on eBay looking for old retros that I can do what Vic is doing. I'm about to order the Angelus Paint and I got at least six pair myself that I'm about to restore and that's going to give me a portfolio and show people what I can do I'm a chef but I am very intrigued by doing these Restorations

Looks great! Remember to clean the insides of the shoe first , so you dont have to put the shoe tree in twice....at least this time you edited him putting the shoe tree back in after he cleaned the insides....I still call that progress....lol

I been taping for decades,, if ur right handed take the roll of tape pull out the desired amount to use , with right hand take the roll and wave it up and down to the line you want covered then tack it down with left hand go back and using fingernail or putty knife make sure tape is sealed down . This way is faster better more proficient,, eliminate little pieces of pain in ass tape cover, tape cover good work

I'm just seeing vids on how to clean the shoe, how to prep the show for paint, how to iron the toe box for a crease to be fixed, occasionally you see a vid on gluing slight separations, and only one sole swap video since he said he never done a swap before ( Manolo vid ) Shows how to remove simple scratches off the leather using whatever size grit sandpaper to blend it out. Also you see the vids on the shoe that is not in the worst condition as the other shoe, I've noticed the " restoration " ( more cleaning if anything) is for the better condition shoe, not the shoe with bad cracks on them. Vick does a great job on what he is promoting & very talented too, but when i hear " custom" & " restoration " because I'm into muscle cars & model car building, i can't quite see restorations, i see cleaning. Vick is very good, and does awesome work..Just my opinion on the words used....

As i mentioned you do good work and very talented but they play on words describing your talents as restoring, to me its more cleaning. sometimes the inner midsole can break that is the material inside the midsole...there is some dude who splices shoes in half on youtube i seen him do it to a pair of jordan 3's...these are selling cheap on ebay I bought a ds pair for 45 a few years ago..and I just bought another pair for 40 recently just to play ball in...good luck on yours bro

I admit you know what you're doing and you're very good at it. Things is...I question where you get these shoes from, how come some of the stains look uniform...similar stains on both shoe.
