Hi Dr. Asaad! I’m an IMG and my medical school gives numerical grades on our transcripts (for example 91 or 72). In the US I know the majority of medical schools only out pass or fail on the student transcripts. I’m planning on trying to get into a residency program (hopefully surgery) in the US and I was wondering whether or not the grades on our transcript are important. Do they care about the transcript grades or do they care more about USMLE exam scores?
