Resi 2 legacy is huge. They really had lightning in a bottle with the originals, I personally love the backgrounds and the creepy detail. The more the years pass the more I recognise this not as a game but a work of art.

you really can appreicate how much detail went into these games. :)

back in the days where games have soul...
@kd92628 жыл бұрын
Back then the graphics were unmatched, no one thought of them as " sub par" because naturally we couldn't know what the future would hold..graphics are absolutely no excuse for a game to lack soul
@vandibber82218 жыл бұрын
Kyler Durden um... no. I bought this the day it came out. Anyone who said these were subpar graphics at the time would have been laughed at. They were excellent at the time.
@MrBillyidolfan8 жыл бұрын
hell to me they are excellent by modern standards aswell, as long as they are played on an older non widescreen tv, that way these oldies are every bit the eye candy that resident evil 7 is
@MrNiceguy32108 жыл бұрын
I don't get how this video showcases what makes a game "have more soul" than games of today. The backgrounds are pre-rendered, and that's about it. Now, most of these backgrounds can be recreated with much more detail and with physical existence rather than just being a 2D image.

I'm not big on urban planning, but Raccoon City seems to have been designed by a madman. Look at the architecture and layout of the city, even without the barricades in place. What is with that building that the fire escape passes under? It has this kinda archway that connects two buildings, except that they seem to be two residential buildings. Where would you ever see something like that in real life?

2:41 - 3:12 - The bus was simply relocated in the retail version: It changed the sides of the road, now blocking the small passage and the "trial bus" was replaced with a fire truck. That is the same bus you had to enter in the retail version.

@V0YAG3R7 жыл бұрын
Anything after RE3 is a disgrace to the series, except for 0 and the RE1 remake. People who wanted better controls, camera and else for RE didn't like RE to begin with, they wanted RE to resemble something they liked. They should have stuck with Shinji Mikami's own DMC and should have left RE alone and untouched.
