Hunk for the win! RE2's unsung antihero gets the proper treatment in mod I frankly have never seen before. This was great. RE2 & 3's worlds colliding into one map being major highlight. Luv it!

I believe the reason for the backgrounds switching between HD and original are because some areas are from RE 3. So they aren't in the seamless HD mod for RE 2. The area in front of the gun shop seems to be using the original background for some reason.

If RE9 is anything like Village I'm not buying it either Village was so stupid and RE3 remake they should remake RE3 again but make it just like the original it's going to be sad if I don't get to play a good RE3 remake and why hasn't Sony put RE3 original on PlayStation WTF 😢

I can get the sentiment. Village is a weird one, but mainly because of the Ethan saga. If you strip that away, the gameplay is pretty much RE4 though, except worse antagonists. The full ensemble always gives off that stupid comedic circus troupe vibe of. And we already kinda know they are going to emulate the RE4R gameplay formula, so it just comes down to if they can nail the characters this time (both protagonist and antagonists).
