Shit man, you're right... And I think I just got why. Every other song in this game just carries this deep sense of foreboding, like at best 'ok you get some respite, but you know the whole city's trying to kill you right?' And right around this point in the melody of this song, that would be where it kicks in, but here it just... Doesn't. The song remains hopeful. It's still like... Saying 'tomorrow will be better'. The contrast makes it so, so powerful. I don't know my music theory or any of that shit, so y'all can rag on me if you like. But I really feel I'm onto something y'know?

@@NoudvanHarskamp Robocop! I look forward to that, my profile picture has been Robocop for 4 years! and has NEVER changed hahah. Well, i'll be honest with you. i HATE robocop 2, 3, and the remake. i ONLY like the 1987 one. that's a good movie, the rest are TERRIBLE to me. So i only know 1987 soundtrack. Anyhow, the main theme is nice, the orchestra is terricic however you only have 2 hands on piano so it'll be a bit tricky to find out what to jump to and what instruments to copy. it sounds a little bit like "the van chase" song, so you can chose between van chase or main theme. the "showdown" one is not too bad, that was pretty cool and sounds very very good in the scene, i hope you remember. Robocop is a good movie, a bit cheesy, funny, unique, but also VERY VERY VERY violent hahahaha. The problem with robocop ost is that they all sound the same, sort of. so it's a bit diffcult to chose some. and there isn't much songs that i know of. the 1st movie has a few songs but not much. I would love to reach out to you on discord, maybe its easier to talk to you there, or you can join mine or i could join yours if you do end up making one.
