I had a friend that made like two hours with Nicholai back in 2008 he was so vicious , his strategy was to push the zombies and use the knife, and for Nemesis he roll around him and kill him with just the knife. I have two questions: 1. How did you manage to escape decapition from the hunters? I think you still took damage from that attack but it didn't register as a decapition. Does this have something to do with hitboxes? 2. Do you plan on submitting this, the Carlos and (assuming you also have intentions of doing it) the Mikhail video to SpeedDemosArchive? I got a damage of that attack but I believe as I was too near of him, it did hit the belly and not the head. Yeah, I put the hunk run there last year, well I don't know if they accepts these kind runs there, because it's not a "time attack" if you understand what I mean. I do not plan to do with Mikhail, I just wanted to do as Carlos and Nicholai. I haven't played anything lately, but I will see what I can do later.. thank you for appreciation

Eh... whatever RE7's gonna turn out to be, sure as hell better than what they cooked up with RE6. Hell, even RE5 at that matter.... RE1(+ remake) to 3 followed the same basic formula with minor additions between and those'll forever be my favorites cause they felt fun. 4 was something fresh but as adrenaline pumping and thrilling of an attempt on horror, that much I can appreciate and love. RE5 and 6 felt like cashgrab on RE title no matter how "radical they tried to change" the gameplay/ setting from 4. At least RE7 tried something new far as I'm concerned. It may not be the best of approach but if it can give me a good scare or two, I'd say I'll take it.

The RE1 remake was probably the best, most 'survival horror' esque in the series thus far. Crimson Heads were a brilliant add in in my opinion as well. And those camera angles... As for gameplay, I think it's fair to say RE4 is as huge as it is for good reason. Kinda wish I had some recording software; I have a friend of mine who has never played any RE, let alone a video game with tank controls. I'm gonna make him play RE4 and realize its glory!

I don't know about that. When I watch these old RE games, there are some aspects to them that are not captured by newer games. For one, the claustrophobic environments of these older games add a great deal of tension that none of the newer games could possibly accomplish. The old games really feel like survival horror games while the newer games are just different, but not necessarily bad.

Bast f 5 had brighter environments and honestly was a more satisfying gaming experience than 6. You didn't have 3 separate plots to memorize. 5 just felt more... Fun than 6. On top of that, the secret QTE that's hidden in the final boss fight was a pretty cool touch.

6:42 I was amazed that the prisoner in this room was still alive considering how much time had passed since the game began. I always assumed it was impossible to rescue all prisoners with Nikolai because he takes so long to knife out the enemies that inevitably you would start finding prisoners already dead when you got there. 8:07 WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, hold on a minute! Why was he awarded that 2 second bonus? And again at 10:44. What was that weird little time bonus all about?

I nailed knifing nemesis on Jill w/o any recovery item, but knifing hunters? even that big mouthed hunter that can swallow you whole? let alone single hunter, you have the skills to kill multiple of them, hats off for you. New RE doesn't have this much complex gameplay technique. Like the dodge button, I practice since i was a kid and still haven't been able to pull it off 100%. Or the way the enemies moving and attacking, newer RE enemies are very predictable compared to this game's Nemesis and hunter's AI. Notice how he hug some enemy back and force it to change their pathfinding routine? That's a very awesome tech right there.
