Resident Evil 3 Secret Key to Unlock the Boutique Room

There is a secret key in this game that makes you unlock a special room, for that you need to beat the game at least once and wait the credits to end, then just save the "Next Game" file and load the game from it. After that, go to the safe room and open the item box, the boutique key will be there, take it and then go back to Raccoon City streets and unlock the Boutique Room. There are five alternative costumes for Jill: STARS uniform, Regina outfit, Biker suit, Disco suit and Mini-skirt police uniform. The clothes are unlocked by the Ranking system. If you get a Rank A, all outfits will be available for you to use.

This doesn't exist in either PC port of the original game (you get an actual menu, similar to what's present in Re4, to pick your costume at the start of the game, and never have to unlock them because Capcom disabled the unlocking mechanism), so I've never actually seen this "in the wild" before. Thanks for sharing; that's a whole room I've never seen before.

In the game version that I had there were 7-8 costumes in total. Here I see only 5. Also, there was no boutique room or any key but instead all these costumes could be selected in the main menu of the game before starting the campaign.

Why you wrote secret? The key and boutique aren't secret, you just needed to finish the game once and that's it.

I just finished the game on hard, but there is no boutique key when I reach the warehouse item box. I saved the game after the credits, tried both the "continue" and "restart" options. Why? Is it because I got a F ranking?

Yes, you do.That is the Japan's version. If you finish the game in level A, you can to get five kind of suits.

You have to bit the game first in any difficulty mode. So, at the end of the game, you will get the key and you can save the game which allow you to start the game again with the boutique key.
