Well Vash, to answer your questions: 1) I do like doppelganger/counterpart Bosses. The way you described it, reminds me of Dark Link, Dark Samus and the myriad of Bosses in Ghost of Tsushima. I also like Bosses that have a multitude of ways to defeat and require you to think outside the box. Ex: The End (MGS3) and Mr. Freeze's Boss fight in Arkham City. 2) Normally, I prefer 1v1 Bosses, but I can accept Bosses if they spawn in between phases (like you said) or if the Boss is injured and tries to slowly heal. 3) At first, I didn't mind having the option of Digital or Physical, but with the constant push for Digital nowadays, I'm finding myself leaning more towards Physical.

I feel like after this playthrough Vash will just laugh every time he sees a mid-boss enemy in the base game. Vash will be like, "Oh no is that ONE chainsaw man. That can easily be heard a mile away" or "Uh oh, a single, lone garador...in a massive room. Whatever shall I do?"

Hey Vash, If I remember correctly the version of the Mauser C96 that the Red9 is based on was made by Germany during WW1. It fired a different round than the original versions of the C96. The originals fired a 7.63x25mm round and the newer version fired the now standard 9x19 Parabellum round. The guns that fired 9mm had the large 9 carved into the handles to prevent them from being loaded with the wrong type of ammo.

When I graduated Highschool and started working back like 12 years ago, I went crazy on digital games. My thought was who has time to go out and buy games from the store when i can buy en online and they install on my home from work. But now I'm in my 30s I will almost always buy a physical game. One of my favorite personal favorite boss fights is the Lingering Will from KH2FM, the tactics, the music, the satisfying ways to counter him, using his attacks against him and avoiding the locked command moves. Fighting on critical mode is very satisfying, and I love to go back to that fight just for fun to speedrun it. The room with all those wolverines dropped spinals, the one raising the roof drops the pendant.

I love boss fights where fighting them feels like a duel, even better if they fight similar to you. To give some examples: Vergil in DMC3/5, Moritsune in Shinobi (PS2), Jetstream Sam in MGR.

The castle has been rough so far in this randomizer playthrough, as you’ve gotten Garrador every other room, and I legitimately jumped when that Garrador took a swing at you when you left that room. I prefer my games physical too, as I like to see my actual collection, but I also buy digital, mainly indie games, as a way to support the developers and in hopes that they release the game physically, which I’ll buy, if I loved the game. But thanks for another another part, I’m really enjoying the playthrough.

Okay, I get what happened around the 50:00 point. The merchant turned into an enemy, and the room is programmed so that when you normally end up at the top floor it has a bunch of cultist on the bottom floor that will run down the hallway and lock the door. The game thought that one of them went past the door trigger and locked it but since it doesn't open until a revisit, Vash had to exit and enter again. Crazy things happen in this rando. That said, how do you get the QTEs to be disable Vash?

you get paid a lump sum of cash for each bottlecap row you complete. Useful for randomizer run because sometimes you have to haul ass and run away from enemies, and you end up missing out on treasure.

It depends, really... if a game is steeply discounted, I'll buy it digitally. But usually, I prefer physical media. Matter of fact, I actually had found a Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3 at a secondhand store, so that made me exceptionally happy. The only physical reward the original owner had kept was the N7 patch, so it was a solid steal for $9

For boss fights, I can't really say that I have a favorite lol that's a tough one. Maybe like, bosses that have a very unique combat mechanic, or bosses with multiple forms. That's highly hit or miss tho lol my fav was Yami from Okami, but I HATED Mother Miranda. her spider from was so cheap.
