The “trick” I found out was to not use any guns that required large it’s dumb but it increased the drop rate for it

@Oscar M yup! The game seems to have a "preference" system in place where you're more likely to find ammo for weapons you have with you, rather than dropping random stuff you don't need. Excluding guaranteed drop locations ofc, where you'll always fund a specific item. but yeah, I've found that if I use my m1903 rifle a lot and tmp I'll always be finding rifle and smg ammo, the same can be said for magnums

The gunpowder case was extremely useful to me on my new game pro run, with how many large resources the game throws at you you can keep your rifle very well fed. On my minimalist play through I ended up switching from the normal case (the pistol one) to the gunpowder case as well because the game doesn't give you pistol ammo as an enemy drop if you have at least 40 it seems. Which when you're only using the pistol and it's all you're crafting you never drop below 80.

do not underestimate the black case on pro very useful for castle and island there is certain parts heavy grenades become very useful. god i wish i preorded the deluxe edition.there is certain times im desperate for gun powder.

I love this game and when I heard they were releasing a remake I pre-order the priming package. I wasn't fooling around with this game. But there is a lot that came with it that I didn't know about. Now I have to go home and check and download everything thing I didn't use in my first three-run throughs. Damn, thank Kenndrik!

I started my first playthrough using the Classic Case, but I found that I'd always be starving for ammo and I'd have to craft Handgun ammo constantly when I wanted to save my resources and gunpowder for other stuff. It felt like the game would deliberately not give me handgun ammo when I had the materials to craft it on me which meant I'd never be able to make Magnum or Shotgun ammo because I needed the Handgun ammo to keep going. This problem immediately went away when I swapped to the Silver Case, actually getting a steady source of Handgun ammo lets me actually save my gunpowders for the things I'd need for a given situation or stockpile Magnum ammo when I was good on everything else. Don't underestimate that Silver Case

I'm on my 2nd playthrough and I have only used the silver case and I believe this is the best because you are always going to use them on simple Ganados and save the other ammo for special occasions like chainsaw man

I never crafted hundgun ammo game drip enough go for headshots and use kick as much u can if u doing that is very hard to run out of ammo

Tips for everyone. Use every weapon/grenade in your kit. Dont hoard things as much as you think, the game will give you ammo and supplies if you make sure to use a variety of weapons.

I didn't know that the gold and classic case were pre-order exclusive. Wouldn't hurt to add them as a small bit of paid DLC down the line.

@@UrsineSleeper I'm not sure how I'd feel about that personally. I also don't mind the all in-game bonus unlock DLC like in RE2 Remake. I would never get it, but if some people wanna have fun and just buy all the bonus items that aren't even viable for certian challenges anyway, then that's fine. Here tho, that would mean you unlock all the bonus weapons as well as the cases which I don't want to do. I'd rather just get the cases to mix it up because they look really cool and I think the bonuses are fun. I also don't wanna pay extra for accessories and bonus weapons because I have the majority of them already and I don't use them any way.

It's actually good that they were added... it makes you think about going through the whole game with an endless knife, where you can use the red grass keychain case + keychains for extra hil from perches and snakes. It's a challenge. On a pro it will be extremely harsh)

Honestly all of them are very useful and I use them all frequently except for the red herd case I just don't get hit very often and the game does a decent job at giving me plenty of healing items I even maxed out my health in my first playthrough in the original when I loaded new game plus I still had a few more upgrades to my health the remake is very generous with health items

The Red one works in case you don't want to play with any "buffs" that directly help you , just for fun or for very purist people. That is assuming you don't need the red herbs at all, otherwise it's a lifesaver in professional

Opposite for me in professional. I get hit so damn often that the game gives me nothing but green herbs but with the increased drop rate for red herbs I can heal more reliably.

I find whenever I use one of the cases you buy with Spinels, it gives you a crazy amount of that specific resource. For example, when I use the Black case it feels like every other crate contains a Large Resource. Thats fine, but this occurs at a rate where youre not picking up enough gunpowder to then craft stuff. A similar thing happened with the Red case, where I received way more red herbs than the game provides green herbs...

Personally for me the standard case suits me best. My pistol is my main and constantly having 40-50+ rounds is perfect for me. I reserve my shotgun and rifle rounds for mini bosses and bosses, unless I have to quickly deal with a ganado or Zealot.

I used the gold case for a bit. I felt like it replaced normal drops too much with money. Like he said, in the village, the best drops at that point would be money, since you only likely have two gun types to feed, but I wouldn’t use it past the beginning of the castle

The normal one is really good. the classic is nice too since gunpowder is most of the time the limiting factor. The black one if you play with tmp instead of pistols, if you sniper it is not worth it since you will be lacking gunpowder. The red one is USELESS! The money one makes upgrade faster, but you will lack ammunition.

I can’t lie the red one has been a LIFESAVER for me on professional. I’m good at parrying somewhat but I love to use the rifle with scope like so much especially in waterfall room I can’t see sometimes when the archers hit me and it’s more effective to use red/green herb rather than just a green herb. I mean I could use the special weapons and hats but meh😂

The red one is good to make money on replays, after you don't need yellows to upgrade your max health you can mix all colors and sell it for 10k or 20k with the charm

One thing I wish they would of added was more random treasure not marked on the map like in the original. Spinels and gems stuck in the wall or in birds nest, just more incentive too look around everywhere.

I would highly advise going into NG+ and saving up 2mil Pesetas for the Infinite Rocket Launcher. It will allow you to breeze right through everything on Professional as everything will be 1 shot kills. Hope that helps. 🙏

I think there should be a case that has no influence on the drop rates. The default case giving extra pistol ammo isn't great when it means you're starving for shotgun shells.

That's why we have the ammo crafting mechanic. I would strongly recommend only ever crafting shotgun or sniper ammo.

I constantly had loads of red herbs and had no fucking luck find green ones, and that's when I wasn't even using that case. Honestly the only one that seems useful to me is the gunpowder one, that always seemed to be the resource I was most without, but fuck paying for the deluxe version or whatever, I don't even pre-order games anymore because you never know when we'll get a cyberpunk 2077 situation and end up with a half finished/broken game.

the major problem i have on Pro difficulty is the minecart section, IF i do not have the gas mask or aim-assist enabled... without the gas mask or aim-assist the minecart section is literally IMPOSSIBLE to do on Professional difficulty

I've done about four Professional Playthroughs at this point, and I think I've died on the minecarts once. Trick is to not worry about aiming. Just point in the general direction of the cart you need to destroy, and hold fire. You'll either hit the target, or hit the cart. Hit the guy once, he'll stagger and not shoot you. Hit the cart 4 times, and it breaks. Usually there's only two carts on the screen at one time, and you have ten rounds per reload. For the chainsaw guy, nobody shoots at you while he's the primary threat, so just reload as he's rolling up, and unload on him. Don't go for well aimed shots, just point at him and hold fire. The main thing to remember is ALWAYS RELOAD after every group is cleared.

The gold case is pretty bad in my opinion, since it just increases the drop rate for Pesetas, but it doesn't really make that much of a difference. The additional gunpowder would be awesome

I bought the dekuxe edition (no pre-order) and Im missing the pesetad one, which I want so I can max out Killer 7 (my favorite weapon) and th3n woild have loved to use the gu powder one to make magnum ammo since its extremely rare. They shohld have made it where if you didnt pre-order the gme, they cost a lot of spinels, but if you pre-orderer the game, it was free. Tgat way NO ONE misses out, and the pre-order guys grind a little less. Everybody wins.

When you preorder the deluxe and you're not seeing the extra content in game, you need to hit manage game when on the menu (works the same for both PS and Xbox). Under content files you'll see the dlc that just hasn't been downloaded yet, you select them and download them and you'll see them in game.

@@Roscoe-ei3nu Not sure if it's different than on the PS5 but what i did was, on the PS5 Home Screen where the Resident evil 4 app is , i just highlighted or hover over the app and press menu then select downloadable content and the cases and charms was there , so i just downloaded them and they show up when i went back to the game and selected customize the attache case at a typewriter. Make sure you quit the game first just to be sure they show up after you download them.
