There's this part where you need a wrench and it turns out one of the ones in the glass incubators had swallowed it... And you literally have to set it free, to kill it dead, and get the wrench. See in the original they just come out, but in the remake you literally have to make sure you don't set 'em free when you shoot Ganados that invade the room later... And of course that's still easy so they made sure the Ganados you're shooting at are also carrying dynamite sticks 😹

It was always great that RE4 came out around the same time as Killer 7, another capcom game with Shinji Mikami influence. The regenerators are basically the heaven smile from killer 7, right down to the creepy grins and specific weak points needing to be shot. It was a really great reference and a nice thing to give some promotion to Suda 51's Western game debut.

If you insist on fighting them before finding the scope then after shooting the back in various places let them get backup unless you are using a gun that shoots through them. Then you can get the plaga on the front. Also unless it has changed in the remake once they start to shake etc they are going to explode so you can stop shooting.

Es como un cadáver que a pasado tiempo bajo el agua en estado de descomposición, palido e hinchado A parte todos los bultos que tiene en el cuerpo me da la impresión que son como tumores directamente debajo de su piel. Cómo si su regeneración no fuera perfecto y produce carne de más y por eso igual se ve tan hinchado

I think it was a bad choice not to include the original regenerator soundtrack, it added a lot to the fear factor. This one sounds like the beginning of the old one, on loop.

They even kept the prison with regenerators after the location of the military base, and made this moment really scary

This is one of the things i absolutely love about Resident Evil, fighting back against absolute pure horror in spaces that aren't too big but not too small and still able to make you feel claustrophobic even tho it's just 1 against 1.

The remake of this level was absolutely and positivity constructed perfectly from the very beginning to the end as the astomphere and tension is so creepy, spooky, eerie, dark, sinister, intense, and unnerving which gives the player a sense of dread, agony, hell, pain, despair, and trauma of what they have to endure as it's such a nail-biting thrill ride as it keep you on the edge of your seat.😱😰
