Some people don't like this song for some reason. I thought it was the perfect moment for the player to put the controller down and reflect on this masterpiece that they just gave 20 hours of their life to. Perfection

It's awfully cheesy with how "dark and real" this remake was trying to present itself. It was great and i loved it, but It takes itself too seriously with this. Thats why people didnt like it.

The song really give us the insight of Leon's struggling with Raccon city truma and his suffering during his time in working under the government (being conscripted by Sherry's safety). Leon felt that he has to stay strong and need to be stronger to save people so that nothing would be lost in vain. But how he can be when the scariest enermy is himself? His self-doubt about his abilities for not being able to save his superior (Marvin), his foolishness for trusting Ada (the woman who is prpbably his first love), his incompetentness for protecting Sherry from government and now, his fear from his failure to complete the mission. These would forever haunt him for a long time and they are getting worse in each time he has to go on the mission and face the horrors of B.O.Ws. What choices does he have? None. The only way he can do is walking forward in his life while trying to suppress the agony from Raccoon City incident and hoping for the best that he would succeed where he used to fail before.

I don't think Ada is his first love. Either it was the original RE2 manual or the devs themselves who said that the reason Leon arrived to Raccoon City to start his job as a cop at night and not daytime is because he had been on a bender because his girlfriend left him. Leon seems to always go for alcohol when he just wants to forget.
