I've been dreading this year due to turning 40 in March, and the presidential elections later this year in the US. So this was much appreciated. Nice to see you back Steve (we hope you're back). Since your such a big Quest guy it's nice to see you give the PSVR2 some love. I'm considering getting one so any enthusiasm from anyone is helpful.

Thanks :) I wouldn't say I'm 'back', but there will be more content from me; just when I find things that impress me. This game doesn't just impress.. it excites. I wouldn't say either the Quest or the PSVR have 'many' games that I like, but it only takes one that'll hold your attention for a significant time to make it worth buying. Quest has VRChat (not actually a game, as such) and now the PSVR2 has RE4 VR. Up to the release of this game, I hadn't considered the headset a good purchase.

I have it, and while I like a lot about it, especially the graphics, I'm totally put off by the 'hacking' and overly complex UI and crafting nonsense.

Yeah, how's it going my old mucker? It looks good, bet you get some cool jump scares, I've gone in the opposite direction I am back playing 80/90's stuff, mainly arcade shooters, but I am sure I'll get into the VR stuff eventually when it's way more mainstream and there's more games available.

Hi Ste! It goes well. I hope things are good with you? I think it's going to take another generation of hardware, and the active participation of triple A devs before it goes mainstream, and there's no guarantee that'll happen. Games like this really help to raise awareness of how good VR can be though. I still play older games, though almost exclusively on emulator handhelds (got a new one coming today, so expect a video in the near future) :D

U should check out the other resident evil games because this game wasn't made for vr but a conversion

I think the fact that this game wasn't made for VR is why I like it. Most games made specifically for VR just don't do it for me. I have RE Village, and prefer this by a mile. In the same way, I really like Half Life 2 VR Mod, but don't like HL Alyx.

Does VR cause nausea or headaches after a while? Always wondered.

It's never given me a headache, but it sometimes gives me motion sickness, depending on the game.
