I wish they made the infection process a little longer. Like the Bakers going through changes over the span of days/weeks and being unsure and terrified of whats happening to them while not suspecting an innocent-acting Evie at all. It would of made it much more cruel and horrific. Now that I think of it, wasn't that the case implied in the full game? There was a medical note about Marguerite going for an MRI/CAT scan and being diagnosed with some kind of brain mold that should be operated on ASAP, then not returning to the doctor. I guess this is more convenient for the DLC in terms of lenght, but it seems to contradict the main story and is not as emotionally effective as a slow possession would have been.

The way the game depicts it here is that they take her in for the night and WHAM, they're immediately turned into monsters.
