Something i heard someone say for later on when you play this again, is the game doesn't actually register every single shot you take on enemies. But instead you wanna shoot once, wait for their recoiling animation and then shoot them again after, otherwise it'll really waste ammo. Kinda like how nintendo bosses work lol

Really interesting how different this played out for you... I for example picked up my severed hand and took it with me and actually the hand stapled to my body doesn't have a slightly different color than yours has. Also Jack saw me instantly when i entered the hall way...tried to trick him out and run through the corridor while he was in the kitchen...he broke through the wall and chased me like hell you somehow missed a HUGE Jumpscare there...a really horrifiying one

I'm loving this game so far! I kind of wanted to play in VR myself, but I'm too chicken. 😅 Also so you know, there storage boxes in all (most) save rooms, and the boxes are connected. You can drop your stuff off in the laundry save room, and retrieve it from any save rooms with boxes that you come across in the future. No more worries about full inventories.

I also play in VR. I got a PS Pro just so I can have a better imagine quality to avoid feeling sick. It helps a lot. Also what helps me is acting out with my hands what is going on. For me it oddly helps.

Remember when fighting enemies aim for the head it does maximum damage and don't waste your ammo shooting those bobble heads use your knife.

This is the first time I haven't liked VR within a horror game. The controls and movements are hurting my eyes and giving me a headache. The scares aren't even the same. Idk how it is for Matt but the woman's face would've been closer to the screen for us with that jump scare but it wasn't. I'm a sad that Lissy isn't experiencing it as great as he is either.

Hey guys have you tried to smooth out the looking around in the options settings I played the first bit like you guys did, then I was like there's gotta be a natural movement then I found it in the settings if you change it to a higher setting you can look around more smoothly with the right stick and you can keep your head straight... just a thought

To fix the camera rotation change it to smooth, and change the camera rotation (vr mode to 7)

looks like whenever you clip out of bounds, the screen goes black, which is especially annoying for scripted scare sequences like the "welcome to the family" bit (and the bit where your hand got chopped off) he was meant to grab you and spin you around but apparently you were out of bounds for that sequence so black screen for you... whenever you get a black screen try to "center" yourself physically into the game world so your physical body is where the characters is supposed to be

The game seems really strange in VR. The majority of your arms are missing and the screen regularly goes black during encounters, I'm guessing that's the downside by playing with it.

I will say you are missing a lot of stuff in VR due to the way it seems to have to pause and blank out the screen before moving to a new scene. Immersive as hell, but not very optimized for the mechanics, especially further into the game. Also, please stop wasting ammo on bobbleheads, use your knife.
