A good game, but not much of an re and that's hard to explain. It might actually be as far as re6 from being a true resident evil

My favourite resident evil. I prefer horror to anything and they mastered it in this game especially PlayStation VR it was honestly scary. The 3rd act kinda dragged but other then that it was a masterpiece definitely better than village(8) 100% percent.

It's an easy top 4 RE game for me. Right up there with 1 2 and 4. Third time Capcom redefined themselves with a new perspective. The reintroduction to horror. And I love all the little nods to previous re titles especially 1 there's so much inspiration from Re 1 in this game and I love it. Amazing horror experience and Resident Evil game.

Revelations 1 was one of the first games where you got to play through the past rather than just watch as you said, so seeing it return here i got so excited when i noticed I WAS the one controlling the characters ❤

Great video. Love this game, I just played through it for the first time about a month ago. I think part of what makes it so scary is the game does a great job of making you feel like you’re somewhere you are not supposed to be

The first re I platinum. I’ve Done 5 play Throughs of this game. And for 1 reason it’s absolutely amazing. The horror is definitely the best out of every re title I understand after the first play though it wears off but the first play though of re7 will be my favourite out of any re game. I understand the final act was abit slow but apart from that I see no flaws. Maybe not as a resident evil title it’s the best but as a horror title it’s definitely the best out of all re games. “Welcome to the family son” has to be one of the most iconic quotes of all time.

after finally playing resident evil 7 a few weeks ago it is definitely an experience worthwhile. Although yea it does get a little less scary as you play through and a bit more obnoxious lol. Good vid Ned, pretty much covered everything to go over! 👍

Resident Evil 7 was not only my first Resident Evil game, but the last game I got before the end of the 2010s.

I started re originally with 4. Went back and played the gamecube remake and then never really played the others. 7 came out and its still the best even after 8. This game is fantastic in every way

Re1 / Re1r , Re2 / Re2r , Re3 , ReCV are excellent. After those great games ,the new resident evil formula appeared .Re4 Re5 and Re6. I think those are the worst in the franchise ( main game , not spin off ) Then come Re7 and Re8 that was..... really Excellent. Revelation series are very good too ( its my fav category , pkus the coop mode is a good addition , better than mercenaries )

It was kind of facintsting to see the transformation of the series when going through these games again and in the main I would agree with your lists. While I have issues with CV and less so with 4 I can see why people do feel that way. There are a ton of CV lovers and while I did have issues with the game, I still want to see that one get revisited as well
