This is one of those ultra rare times when the US edition is actually better than the UK edition. Great comparison video!

Absolutely Loakum. Usually the US/Canada versions are not as good as the other ones or anywhere close to being better but this time US/Canada definitely got the better one. I do think the UK version is still cool but I heard that the game isn't included for that one which I found absolutely INSANE. The Japanese version is a major head scratcher for me because of how little the get. They get a record that isn't really a record as its a CD of the song, a deck of cards, a Papa's burgers mug, package of rosemary seeds, the game, a cool art book and coffee bean bag to carry it all in. I thought the book and deck of cards were cool but the rest I couldn't understand why a Japanese based game gave its Japanese fans the short end of the stick. UK got a mansion model and US/Canada got a smaller but cooler and heavier mansion model that's an LED music box, its bigger in size but it just doesn't show the entire mansion like the UK version does but the UK version is a lot lighter..... and Japan gets a fake record with a CD attached to it....happy that we got the best one for a change but I still think Japan deserved more,

The UK version doesn't include the game officially, but it is around £50 cheaper then the US version, so in fairness the lack of game is accounted for with the price. But the two retailers that had this available (even though Game pulled their stock at the last minute), they did offer a bundle with the game, which was around the same price as the US version. Both retailers (the other being GameStop Ireland) gave you the option to have it with or without the game. But it still made little sense to release the UK Collector's Edition without the game officially bundled and as you say, its insane really.

I really like them both but i guess its comes down to personal preference. Although its smaller, the UK version its able to capture the entire house. I also love the UK music box w/ the chimes rather than the US version which plays the song w/ lyrics. To me, an old fashioned music box traditionally play chimes which in this case gives it a more authentic & creepier feel. I also like the US version bec of its larger size, detail & build quality. Bec of its larger size it is much more detailed which i like. I love the illuminating windows but as i stated b4, i am not a fan of the US music box. Bec its larger, they obviously had to scale it back which is why US ended up with only the front middle section of the house. I want to buy one but just cant decide. Does anyone have both versions that can tell me which they prefer? Thanks guys!

In terms of quality of build, I prefer the US house, however, the UK house replicates the image of the house better in my opinion. So it really is for and against both ways. Also the chimney on the UK house is very prone to break, so there's a decent chance if you ordered the UK version, it may arrive damaged. My mine damaged shortly after recording this video, but I was able to do a good job at fixing it with super glue.

Solidus 5nake thanks so much for your response and input. I think i am going to go with the uk version and will have the superglue nearby just in case. I just really like the whole house instead of part of it.

I prefer the UK mansion but the extra bits with the US edition are better, not really bothered if it's a music box or not

The Rawalpindi Express Even though I prefer the US mansion in terms of quality build, I appreciate that the UK mansion is a better representative of the house featured in the game. But I think overall they're probably on par with each other with all extras considered and what not.

The Rawalpindi Express I think it's just under £10 for each main piece of DLC or £25 for the Season Pass. Though there is a free piece of story DLC releasing in May.
