RE:7 Wasn't about killing large hoardes of zombies. It was a genuine tribute to horror in general. Thats why so many classic horror movies are referenced. The dinner scene? From what I saw in the demo, the game seemed to have a very strong inspiration in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I think I understand about how it will be to adapt to the new generation, no characters like Leon, Claire, Chris or even Jill, they want to spend a fear like in the first game only that even greater, because you only have a flashlight and be disarmed and not knowing what the enemy in the midst of darkness. (Sorry my bad english)

I think the classic characters will appear, but at the same time I think they need to introduce new cast members or otherwise you can't really get that horror feel anymore; when all the characters are used to seeing these horrific things, it becomes less 'agghhh!' and more 'gotta kill this'.

It's been confirmed that you will not be completely unarmed. You can even see a smoking shotgun in the trailer. Granted it's during the pre-rendered CG part of the trailer but it's still meant to offer clues as to what's in the game. They've said that combat will be more scarce because of the lack of items required for combat i.e. bountiful ammo and tons of guns.

It's like Eveline because of the "I was raised in a deep dark hole" thing but also Zoe because of the "I called for him" and it can't be Mia because she denied that she called him so it could have been Zoe pretending to be Mia
