They did that recent section in the capcom showcase and the recent history of resident evil video They had a guy talk about the new game feels good But it genuinely feels like they are gearing us up for a departure from the typical series. Which is better than what they did with 5 and 6 where they just did what they want. They seem to be carefully considering everything.

the zombies will probably act a lot like the enemies you'd find in RE8, in the castle the zombie-link monsters wielded axes and sword, the village wielded sickles or other farming equipment, and the factory variants had makeshift weaponry.

It's irational to want an experimented survivor like Leon to go to an infected place with just a pistol. Leon having only a pistol in 6 made sense since he did not expect an outbreak, but there's no way he would go in a place with B.O.W with weak weapons after all he had to deal with in his life.

The same could be said about RE 4, you're rationalizing too much, it's just for gameplay purposes, having all guns right off the bat wouldn't be interesting or much fun

@@joaolima7131I think 4 makes sense to go in with just a pistol and that it could easily be explained. He’s an agent after all. Their number one job is investigation which doesn’t require a kitted out arsenal like Chris in 8. Leon in 4 was investigating leads and could be rationalized as scoping it out to call in the big guns before forcefully getting dragged into the plot of 4. 9 could do something similar.

Things to consider... (Also thanks for including me sort of in the previous video ;D)... 1. Early RE8 Leaks once suggested that Leon and Jill would be in it. These were around 2019 I think. Now RE9 supposedly started developoment in 2018. And the Goatman Stalker thing was also something taken from supposed RE8 Leaks. You originally would play as that NPC Woman from Village and having to avoid these Goat-Man enemies using a Lantern. That section and overall character's supposed bigger role got cut. You could probably still find the article on it online if you look hard enough. But its been years now. 2. As for RE9 currently...we got one leak saying Jill/Hospital/Goat-Man Stalker. Then we got another leak saying Leon/Island/Etc... What if...these are indeed two different campaigns being made by different teams but they're both RE9 and will be merged together for the final game or...its literally two different games and Capcom is deciding on which will become RE9 and the other becomes a spin-off title? Which leads to the other point... 3. There were rumours of a Revelations 3 or Outrage or whatever that game was...that mentioned a infected university and you playing as Rebecca Chambers investigating an outbreak there dealing with a rage induced type virus and the secondary character would've been Natalia supposedly. Now one rumour for that said Barry was originally in it and another said Leon and Ada...etc...It was all over the place in regards to supporting cast and this game was supposedly being made for the Nintendo Switch but was cancelled. So...is the game really cancelled or is Capcom making it for the Switch 2? In which case, if this rumour about Rebecca/Natalia being true, than that's when we'd get a conclusion on that whole story right? So if Barry is in RE9, will RE9 set that game up or will that game take place before these current events and Barry will mention them? Or is that whole Revelations 3/Outrage rumour just that...A rumour? 4. If Barry is indeed in RE9 and it is a Jill/Leon game, wouldn't it make more sense for Barry to be on site helping Jill like RE1 all over again? Or perhaps he's the middle man serving as the inbetween for Leon and the BSAA? 5. Technically this game sounds more like Revelations 2. In fact most RE Engine games have been direct inspirations and Successors of REV2. RE8 reuses alot of the same plot tropes and structures as REV2 and RE4 Remake feels like direct upgrade of REV2 especially since its the same Director of REV2 who worked on RE4 Remake. Which is another thing to consider. Since we know REV1/RE7s Director is doing RE9 we're assuming, that game will likely be inspired heavily by those two. Horror Focus for sure. Multiple characters both playable and supports? Most likely. Continuing/Concluding the Connections and Eveline stuff? Probably. There's bases for that particular storyline for sure considering who the Director will be.

This is giving me a lot of Revelations 2 vibes, there are a lot of parallels, with Jill being Claire, more focused on survival, and Leon being Barry, more prepared and such.

I do feel that every time we anticipate a reveal at a ‘big event’ tho… it never happens (and the reveals just kinda happen on its own with a trailer randomly dropping out of nowhere). So no hopes on any events being the source of a reveal but hoping it happens soon!

I think Death Island was Capcom showing that Leon and Jill now have met which will make more sense now for them to be in a game together. Wont need a huge introduction within the game making for unnecessary story gameplay that would just being taking up space that they could add other stuff into instead.

"Mass clone productions of Eveline"? That doesn't sound right considering Umbrella nor Mother Miranda perfected a mold B.O.W. I hope "She-Wesker" is returning. I've never been more invested in a cliffhanger like this one! I won't mind if Leon is the Protagonist, but to be honest, I think it's time Capcom changes it up. His last appearance may be RE6 but in recent years we not only had RE2R/RE4R, but also had him in 3 CG movies since then.

More and more I hear these rumours, the more I feel there’s some truth to them. Even if it’s not 100% accurate but I do hope Leon and Jill are confirmed. Jill’s appearance is long overdue for a new a title and it will be nice to also play as the most older and experienced Leon to date. I do hope Leon does make mention of the Los Illuminados. It’s like he always refers to raccoon city but conveniently forgets the cult.

Maybe Leon starts with a ton of weapons and ammo to show that he comes prepared these days, but something happens early on where he loses all his stuff. Maybe he's knocker out by an enemy, and he wakes up with his gear gone?

I am looking forward to re9 and hearing that my girl rose is the key to stopping this mold is amazing because it shows that even if rose is a baby it shows that her power over the megamycete is really strong 😊 I loved re7 and re8 they felt like real horror games unlike re6 with car chasing and fighting on rooftops or underground labs. I am curious as to what kind of puzzles they will show and think leon or jill getting infected with this white mold is cool because it can play with their past trauma like leon during the raccoon city outbreak or jill being captured by wesker and brainwashed

I honestly wish they didn't kill Wesker in part 5 and especially in that way. If they really wanted to wrap up Leon, Chris, Jill and Ada story it should be a game with all of them in it and they finally take him down in an epic way. I also don't think they will release it next year because MH is their biggest franchise yet that makes them the most money. Releasing DMC and RE in the same year isn't bad because both of them sell good but not on the level of MH. I would want them to definitely release this RE, but I don't think they will and even if they space it out they don't want to run into GTA6. If that game wasn't coming this year then I could definitely see them releasing RE9, but with that still possibly coming out I really don't they will. That's just my opinion though.

The play tester couldn't even say what the camera perspective of the game was that is already a red flag. Unless Capcom confirms it I would not get your hopes up so you wont be disappointed. Be patient we don't want any cut rushed game again like 3R for all we know the next game probably is not even RE9 could be another RE remake.

Literally I've seen so many youtubers want them both or just jill and fans aswell. What backlash? Leon hasnt been in an up to date RE game since 6 which was in 2012? If anything like I said Leon and Jill as a duo is something lots of ppl have desired about for years.
