The cards that add another Unexplored tile Mean that if you pass through Through the area again you need another encounter card. Its there to make backtracking harder.

Great video! I can't wait to get my own copy on the table (got my own T-virus keeping me from painting everything!). When you drew the Encounter card that told you to place a Yellow Encounter Token in the room you're in, I believe that means you put the token down and ignore it until the next time someone enters the room, at which point you resolve the token. It's letting you know there's something spooky about to happen in there, and maybe you want to make sure you do everything in there before you leave so you don't want to return. :) So imagine if you got the card that punishes you for not leaving the tile. You'd have to choose between staying and drawing 2 Tension cards or leaving and re-entering (thus triggering the yellow token) to go back and get the B item you missed!

rule clarification. Opening a door to an unexplored room is 1 action, then moving into that room is another and when you move into that room, thats when you reveal the map

Question 1: @1:31 Where did you get that layout rubber mat at? My fiancé and I have been playing RE: The Board game slowly per evening since we are still learning. I am the semi-RE fan here, and I have been slowly looking for ways to organize this particular board game better. Off-topic: And I am aware the rules are not super well explained on the booklet as we have done our fair share of human errors, three slow evenings in a row. Some we have been catching ourselves and will do better the next time we finish our first campaign run. So, seeing some errors on your end, I cannot go ham about it. I wish they did a better job with the rule explanations and sometimes the symbols on the mappings confused me like the puzzles as one example. I played too much of the video game in the past but I have been struggling for a while as to how we trigger and solve it together. We just figured out the piano puzzle but I frankly thought how stupid I was. We are still enjoying this game very much, regardless some few misunderstandings with our practice run together. Hence, I cannot judge anyone harshly for the errors in a playthrough because we all have to learn somehow. Hopefully we can do this again properly once we finish trying this completely and fix the kinks (confusions) on our end so we can share this with family and friends. Plus, I need to paint my miniatures since I love the idea of coloring them up. Just need some spare time when I can. Question 2: Any tips for how you colored your miniatures? I do have paint supplies from Army Painter Speed Paint 2.0, some paint brushes for miniatures, a separate sponge/paper layer for wetting the paint to thin it out when necessary. I have done pencil drawing, charcoal, watercolor and acrylic painting before but certainly not miniature painting. Thanks for the share of your experiences with this board game regardless. It is enjoyable to watch others and see how they did or what I need to be more aware of or sometimes I notice I made the same mistakes too myself.

That’s a great question it came with the all in Kickstarter pledge. Thank you for the great comment. Yes the rules are a little hit and miss. Some things not well explained. Sounds like you are enjoying it and don’t feel so bad if you don’t get all the rules right as long as it’s fun!!! As for painting I just army painter speed paints over a light grey primer. I don’t thin paints down I paint them straight from the dropper bottle. I have some contrast paints as well very similar to army painter 2.0 paints. Hope that helps let me know if you have any questions. I have done some love painting videos that you can watch I don’t think I did one for RE though. My fiance is the board game expert while I am more of the video gamer. He is teaching me of course while I tend to be more into video games and computer hardware, between fixing things etc. At least we know how to fix machines or DIY together too, and etc. Now I just need to get better at this board game but I have been loving it regardless. I am surprise my fiancé has been enjoying it very much as well, he was the one rushing back home and hopping back to the table ready to play some more with me. Horror is not his cup of tea but board games are certainly his joy. Makes me happy to see him enjoy it. Sorry, I went off topic there. Anyways, sounds like Speed Painter is good to go then. I am so used to common methods for painting but that was on a canvas. I was not 100% certain for what the best method is for miniatures, so thank you again. I do have a white primer paint available so I may just use that. I will do the same process, like as you mentioned, focus painting Chris, Jill and also Rebecca and Barry. I am in no rush to paint the zombies. Maybe the Hunters first, then the doggos, along with the three red-heads, Crimson heads. Not certain when I will pain Lisa Trevor and T-002 Tyrant because I want those two to look really good as well. I assume they might be less of headache comparing to the 15 zombies down the road. You didn’t use Jill’s Special ability (Fighting Spirit) when you drawn the two encounter cards with the STARS symbol. Remember, you can use her ability every time the card with the STARS symbol is drawn, even if it’s not her turn. The Decoy Mission Card will effect the assigned character, which means in your case, Brad Vickers, not Jill or Chris. If I remember the rules correctly you cannot push an enemy if he attacks you and you success the evade roll. So Chris wouldn’t be able to push the zombie through the door at 1:07 on Jill’s enemy reaction turn.

Do you have to roll the black dice every time you finish making an action? Not just when you move in to them? The door opening I believe would of been another corpse roll when you were standing on it?

Really well done. At 1:08:00 you made an evade roll with Chris and succeeded rolling one evade and a push symbol. Then you pushed the zombie 1 space. I dont think you push zombies when resolving an evade roll unless you take damage right?

Hi, I just purchased this game a few days ago and I’ve been reading the rulebook first before setting up a campaing with friends, and I’ve come with a doubt and don’t know if you colud help me. If me and other 3 people were to play the campaing, where exactly would characters 3 and 4 start? As far as I’ve read, the rulebook doesn’t say what to do. Please I’d be really thankful if you have an answer to this question.

This is a great question. They don’t really explain it very well in the rules. It doesn’t really matter who starts where. But at least 1 person has to start in the 1 area and another in the 2 position. After that the third and fourth person can start in either the 1 or 2 position. Great question. You start with kerosene and there is a way to refill it through item cards you find. The problem is only Chris is the only one with a lighter.😃😃👍
