This is because in the original Resident Evil Code Veronica on the Dreamcast, Claire NEVER meets Wesker, but her remaining reactions at the end are all the same. This only means one thing. It's because she lost Steve. And THIS, is what every single person kept missing till I pointed it out before anyone else on KZbin. Losing Steve mentally BROKE Claire Redfield. If you notice, in her future appearences, Claire was NEVER as happy as she was when escaping with Steve in the snowmobile. I made a GMV about this, using the ONLY song that suits Claire. @@ramalo2133 I mean it's a bit more than that. For example, in the original, wesker had no idea Chris was going to show up in Rockfort, but he does in CVX. As for hardening her heart, in a way you can say that, but what is more accurate is that Claire is supressing the trauma of losing Steve, as she never came to terms with it, even after 17 years (Death Island) as there are Code Veronica references everytime she showed up canonically, and it only makes sense to her. And in this regard, Capcom did something unique with Claire, that I NEVER saw any other game do with a recurring female protagonist. Capcom told the female character progression arc BACKWARDS, where the female went from mentally super strong to mentally broken. Did you see the GMV I mentioned, or any of my Claire Redfield videos?

45:43 You know what’s sad? We can see that Alexia, despite all her megalomania and even how she puts down her own brother in her notes, still did love him and is upset by his death. She cradles him and sings to him the moment she wakes up and she realizes he’s dead. She got dressed and came back to cradle and sing to him AGAIN, like she can’t accept letting him go just yet. Plus it hints how in the past, she prolly sang and comforted him to sleep with that song (it’s a melody called a berceuse which is usually for lullabies). Whatever their relationship, her immediate instinct is to comfort him, and I think it shows how she truly could be caring and sweet to one person in her life, and he’s gone. And then she put his body in the same cryofreezer she was in. Honestly, I think she was trying to preserve his body and was planning to resurrect him with mad science.

Oh, this brings back SO many memories. Was it difficult? Yes. However, there was no better feeling than beating Alexia with that final shot of the rocket launcher. For those looking for tips on how to beat it, here's some tips: 1. CONSERVE YOUR AMMO! 2. Master the controls. 3. Make sure to leave EVERYTHING - weapons/herbs - for Chris in the item box. Once made a mistake taking everything with me as Claire. Once I got to Chris, that hurt. Not impossible, but definitely made the game harder than it already was.

+ScyberPsylock re4 still stayed true to its roots some because some survival and horror elements and exploration, a few puzzles and some scares though for me. it did took the series to the new direction because of action adventure. and it's OK if it it's action adventure, but it should have still stay true like re1-cv, which it did ;), but like I said it may be action adventure and took the series to a different direction and made other games action. However, it still the best Resident Evil game and it still has some re1-cv elements.

I found this the most difficult Resident Evil out of all the ones i played so far, part 1, 2, 3, remake of part 1 and Zero. Took me 16 hours and 15 minutes to complete it oh my. Got stuck sooooo many times, rusty sword room, looking for the valve handle with chris, and the final part where you had to get the 2 jewels

@@lolipopdreams2123 Well, if you found The DiJ Dirary in Battle Mode, it will tell you that the rat pops up in some of the cutscenes these are times he pops up. As for as who could be the Rat, I'm not sure, he could be the butler.

They never changed it. The Panzer is one of the many Nazi Germany references (like the golden Lugers) that are scattered through the game: originally, Alfred and Alexia were supposed to be named Hilbert and Hilda Krueger and their were the descendants of a family with ties to the Nazi party. It was changed during development to not stir up controversies, but a lot of visual elements remained unchanged (the prison camp looks eerily similar to a concentration camp, in particular Auschwitz).
