Lol this one always had a funny memory attached to it for me. When it came out on dvd I actually went to buy it from my local….K-Mart 😂 didn’t realize that til a few years after. But the best part is I bought it and another movie. After I paid and leaving the store the alarm went off. Security stop me, looked at the receipt and let me go. Security tag probably didn’t get scanned or at least that’s what I thought. Got in the bus went home. I watched it with my dad and that’s when I realized it was never scanned period. Got it for free 🤷‍♂️

I read the novelization for Mortal Kombat: Annihilation in a hotel in Vegas back in like, 1997 because there's nothing else for a kid to do in Vegas except sit in the hotel and read the novelization for Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. I think that same weekend was when they were teasing that Beavis and Butt-head were dead on MTV. Halcyon days.

I didn't mind this movie. The desert setting was a great change of scenery. The Crow attacks and smart zombies were cool. Although the "Super Alice" was starting to get annoying.

The biggest problem from 3 forward is their weird decision to end the planet at the beginning of the 3rd movie. They should have like saved that for maybe the 4th or 5th movie and then they could have started turning it around come The Final Chapter.

This was the first resident evil movie I was holding up to see in theaters and then I found out I wasn't old enough because I was only sixteen and was the youngest of my friends. My dad ended up having to stay and watch it from the back of the theater while I sat with my friends.

Damn poor Kieran, he scarcely appears on the show anymore even though he's always a delight but God forbid he shares an opinion of the games he doesn't like or he gets lightly roasted in the comments smh lol. Last of us 2 I haven't played but anyone i know that has played it would agree with him. I like Re0 but i get why he doesn't like it and CV i loved but he's definitely not alone in hating it. That game got panned on release i remember, people didn't like the new camera, Steve definitely hurt it even i hated him, last boss fight was kinda ass, and for alot of people the fire extinguisher was a turn off when really it's snobby yeah but the game is beatable without the loot. And Alexander was annoying to alot of people. I'm js maybe people can take it easy on these guys or else why watch? Lol say you miss him but then do the exact thing that annoyed him enough to leave in the first place.

Kieran has probably watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. That movie has White Rabbit in it. This was a great episode. More Resident Evil if it means that we get more Kieran 😂. I caught the stream of him beating Resident Evil 2 the other week was a great time. Edit: I randomly paused about 1 second into the video and damn Tony you look like old school Undertaker with the white eyes. 😂

Since I never saw it a second time, I can’t remember if I actually thought this one was okay, or if I was just digging it because the second one is maybe the worst movie I’ve ever seen in a theater. Like, Extinction wasn’t good, it was just that much better than Apocalypse, which I did recently revisit and can confirm is a completely worthless movie. This one is at least directed by Russell Mulcahy, who can make real movies.
