You can't choice different resolution once it's uploaded on youtube, if that's what you're asking. The resolution will be the same as source file. Is your screen 720p?

@@MisterLex Oh! you responded! you're a god send! i play off of my laptop. idk if thats 780p or not but are you saying once i get ready to upload it, i put the file on the same settings i had it recording on? or are you saying i have to upscale the image while playing then upload it.

Check the ref of your laptop and google it to see the specs. I'm saying that if you play on a 720p screen (for example) your video will on 720p, and so on youtube.
